With 2 letdown announcements (or is it 3?), It just seems that they would be in overdrive to get it to us ASAP... maybe they are but it doesn't seem that way.

From my understanding, working crazy hours is the norm in the game industry. However, there's more to the process than just Bio working on it and since they don't intend on giving any new info until there's info worth giving, we don't know where in the process it is.

I'm sure that they're making SOMEONE work nights and weekends.

I hope they're not. People need to rest. For the love of (insert chosen divinity, singular or plural) we're talking about DLC number, what, four? Depending on what came free with it? Everything else has worked great. This isn't even a big one. Not like it's a full expansion. There are no lives hanging in the balance here. No billion dollar deals about to explode. Does it suck? Yes. Probably not as much as, say, living in Haiti right now. Still though it's a bit of an inconvenience.

I'd hate to think that anyone is having to sacrifice their off-work time (and we all work for one reason: so we can afford to do what we want to do when we're not at work) and the businesses in question having to pay OT for the sake of a couple of days.

You know what I hope? I hope that not only did the people at BioWare take the weekend off but maybe, just MAYBE, managed not to be stressing over a release date for this DLC. Save your fear and stress for ME2 and the full expansion pack. Issues/delays with either....

Well, I may have to microwave a puppy.

What in the hell are you basing that on? Are you standing outside of their offices and recording the comings and goings of everyone? Perhaps you have listening devices in their board meetings and spyware on their rendering servers?

No?

Then how can it "seem" any way at all?

You might as well have said "Does bioware have giant purple monkeys in the basement that defecate waffles and urinate cream and strawberries? From the total lack of any knowledge I have, it certainty seems that way!"

Bioware has quite a bit on their table what with Mass Effect 2, and the upcoming Awakening expansion pack.

I'd much rather want them to pace themselves rather than push out sub-par DLC and bug-fixing patches that happen to have bugs which require more patches.

I don't want to derail this very important thread, but actually, Sloth, I have insider knowledge that BW indeed does have giant purple monkeys in the basement that defecate waffles and urinate cream and strawberries.

Just so you know...

People should enjoy what Bioware has given us so Far and thats an Amazing game to enjoy, with an exciting story and rich beautiful world to adventure into. Chil-Lax people rome wasn't built in a day, if it gets delayed start a new game switch your game mode up. Give this great creative team time to get things right, otherwise your going to be complaining because it was rushed.

Be safe and Great Adventures to you always !

I ain't 100% happy with bioware, very buggy release, expensive but very short DLC, screwed over a bunch of 360 owners...ect.

But I do feel bad for them. Game devs work INSANE hours to get their game up and running, like sleep on the office couch hours. Then to start pumping out DLC right after release (when they should be f*in relaxing!) Thats freakin rough. On one hand I am very thankfull they are working hard for us, but it does seem like their going about this all very inefficiently, being their DLC, which missed it's release date, was actually game breaking when it DID release.

Perhaps to much work and not enough sleep. Honestly I'd rather their efforts go into making Awakening worth $40 dollars then go into creating a $5 dollar and 45 min mess.

I hear the writing staff is required to partake of those delicacies daily before work and the sweets are, in fact, the source of all BioWare story inspirations.

I bet they're all off work tomorrow though!! This must have been Martin Luther King's plan from the beginning! I know he's in on the RtO conspiracy. Him and JFK, probably taking orders from the Easter Bunny, no doubt.

If you want quality DLC you don't want them working late nights and weekends. Tired programmers are bad programmers. You don't want to see the bugs I've introduced into code when I'm exhausted.

Being in Canada, I'd be surprised if Bioware got MLK Day off.

Goodbye puppy!

Seriously though...I wouldn't recommend microwaving a puppy. It smells horrible, and the clean-up afterwards...not worth it.

The man was a hero in all known solar systems. I don't follow your logic. Image IPB

(I kid, I kid)

The real reason they're off work tomorrow is because they saw this thread. Image IPB

That sounds like the result of drunk shapeshifting, imo.

I must be slipping. To miss a waffle reference for a "cute cuddly animal in a microwave" reference.   **sigh**

WAIT!! Its a BW person "KILL IT!!! Burn him!! Get back to work"
