seriously, they usually have a summer sale...and yet it hasn't happen?
Anyone know if it's delayed until July or August?

Nobody knows...

... the trouble I've seen.B)

Seriously, Steam does the sale at its discretion and there is no fixed date.

I hope we won't have another special summer event that requires you to play a million games to get achievements and tickets.

I simply don't have the time for that.

Except of maybe the last Tomb Raider, I don't need new games at the moment. I am satisfied with Company of Heroes 2 and Legends of Dawn.

Building a new gaming computer sucking my wallet dry.

The irony.

That's why Steam's summer sales event is a great opportunity for you to get many great games for very little money.

I think the world was better off before giant digital distribution programs like steam and Origin came into the picture. I miss the days where you could download the game directly from the companies and not worry about running another program just to game. The ONLY good thing I get out of these programs is the giant sales.

If you can't wait for the Steam Sale, Green Man Gaming is doing an impressive sale series right now, picked up Borderlands 2 and the Season Pass (4 story based DLC's) for $14.

Anyone recommend a good space simulation game? Akin to Settlers, Age of Empires, Dungeon Keeper, Populous, Roller Coaster Tycoon etc.

My laptop can finally run Doom 3 max, with minimal stutter in shadow heavy areas and particle effects covering your screen.

I can't even have dynamic shadows on Half Life 2. Just the boring static ones.
