I do! Bought a 360 controller last year. But I get what you mean, I tried playing with mouse / keyboard and it's REALLY awkward :(

But with controller... loving every second. I even died less than 5 times in the tutorial, that's awesome! :wizard:

The Risen games are really cheap now, 2 euroes and 5. If you loved the Gothic games, I'd recommend them to you.

I'm way behind on the Assassin's Creed series, and I am considering to buy the Brotherhood expansion for Assassin's Creed II. I already have AC II, but on disc, not on Steam. Does anyone know if I can play Brotherhood if I buy it on Steam? I assume it's possible, but I thought I'd check. So far I have bought Dishonored, Tomb Raider, Two Worlds II velvet edition, and Skyrim Legendary edition. :)

For those who've been active Steam gamers ever since the trading cards were introduced, remember to sell all the cards you've probably acquired by now. Their worth has totally tanked in the past week, but still, you could make a game you want even cheaper with the moneys you get from them.

Sold 14 cards for a whoppin' 3.24 euros yesterday, meaning a cheaper Far Cry 3 for me today. Cha-ching!

Brotherhood (or Revelations for that matter) isn't an expansion, it's a fully standalone game. You don't need AC2 for it, so yeah, it'll work just fine.

Oh, thanks. I thought that every time I looked up information of the game, it was mentioned as an expansion.

How do you sell cards? I've always wondered what they are for.

EDIT: Found it, I'll just sell em all for a quid each. Again, what are the trading cards for?

I for one am not going to contribute to a nuisance microtransaction scheme that just preys on people's vanity and completionism.  Leave that to the F2P wasteland.  If I could opt out of the cards and stop getting those annoying notices, I'd do it.  Steam should make that a possibility.

As for the sale, I got Sang Froid for $7.49.  Looks pretty good.

I had no idea what those cards were until yesterday but it's basic economics
During the sales, everybody buys stuff, giving them cards, flooding the market causing the prizes to drop.
When the sales are over the supply of cards decreases so the prize will go up.

FFVII is 33% off?

... I'm so conflicted. That's not a good deal at all >< xD I mean, for four euroes I might as well buy the fullprice one in August...

But Torment's out on August...

:'-(

I spent $87.38 since the Summer sale started. That got me:

- RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum Edition
- Total War Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai
- Dishonored
- Dear Esther
- The Walking Dead: 400 Days
- Batman Arkham City GOTY
- Defcon
- Sleeping Dogs
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
- Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
- Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
- Prison Architect

And that's not including the numerous games still in my backlog from before the sale.

Edit: And now I'm tempted to get Kerbal Space Program just for kicks.
