If Quarian Marksman had Arc grenades instead of Sabotage?

I feel like most of those extra kits could have been greatly improved / made more interesting by simply swapping out one power.

In this case, I would have liked arc grenades or defense matrix, or even a turret. I still have no problems with sabo on him, I use it, but these all would have been a better fit with marksman.

Other examples..on Vorcha Hunter, replace Incinerate with Ballistic Blades
Krogan Shaman, replace Warp with Reave
Asari Valkyrie, replace Warp with Snap Freeze

etc

If marksman actually affected how fast he can throw arc grenades that would be cool.

That is a stupid idea.

It's like the AIU..you have no way of detonating it, and it's therefore useless. Warp offers a debuff similar to Snap Freeze. The Asari Valkyrie is already a functioning kit.

Actually detonating AF would detonate CE. but its not worth of 2 cooldow IMO.

Yeah, but like you said, the cooldowns.

Grenade management is simply being aware of who you are in the lobby with, remembering to visit ammo boxes regularily, and to equip weapons you can drain the ammo of fairly quickly to replenish your grenades via thermal clip packs. Being smart with your usage goes without saying.

Trust me, I do. Everytime I pass one, even when I'm not playing a kit with grenades for the clips to ensure full supplies, as force of habit. Still, I come short of my max capacity. Thus, I prefer to max the powers that aren't dependent on limited supplies. As to the thermal clip packs: I keep those for emergencies, but I still go by the boxes as a habit.

Maybe not Arc Nades, but a more soldier-like grenade, such as frag/multi-frag grenade. Yeah, i think Multifrag grenades would have been the best for the marksman :D

I do. I just don't use the thermal clip consumables. Ops pack, medi-gel, and missiles all get used and sometimes depleted before the match is over. However, since I'm currently playing for the weapon achievements and the quarian marksman, with all three grenade achievements done, I don't have an incentive to use the thermal clips pack unless I'm low on ammo and in the middle of a fire-fight. Since my play-style is to use both weapons and character-kits that I've not finished the achievements for, grenades don't dictate my strategies, so I barely use those consumables. So, yes, I have learned to use consumables. The box habit is from the beginning when I didn't really have alot of consumables. Please don't get a negative vibe from this post, I don't want an off-topic argument; just wanted you to know that I use consumables, seriously.
Elcor-type would tell you I was being honest and calmly explaining. Why all this precaution? I have seen some angry arguments and want no part in one.

Then learn to use all of them. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come out as... Angry? I wasn't, at all. I just went straight to the point ;) Starting to use thermal clips will improve your gameplay for sure, so... I was just giving an advice in a form that didn't require an explanation that I wasn't too lazy to write :P

Sorry for presuming, I guess? It's hard to read emotion when you literally have to read words that are a command and include, and end wth, the word 'seriously.' From the media I've seen where the word gets used at the end like that, I imagine something...snotty, condescending, I guess. That's why elcor-type could become a neat trend in BSN some day; let everyone know the tone behind that sentence. I made a post in another quarian marksman thread where I used it.
In time, as my manifest fills and I move up in difficulty (currently silver), I may have to learn to use those thermal clip consumables. But for now, in silver, ammo is not a problem. Maybe it'll be different in gold, but I want that quarian marksman and some new shotguns before I start advancing.

Nah no worries, it was my fault for being too lazy and not explaining. Ammo is rarely a problem anyway, best things about the thermals are the 100% damage bonus and the ability to turn grenades from situational weapons into an all-destroying spamming madness :innocent:

Wait, they give bonuses? I thought they only refilled my storage to full capacity. That changes things.

100% additive weapon damage bonus for 8/10 secs, can't recall now. It's quite big. It allows for funny stuff like this to happen.

Hmmm, I'm going to need to try this at some point. Thank you for this information, and let's try and get back on topic.

I'm okay with sabotage as is.

It is, in fact. At least for what concerns my opinion.

The new topic is: "Where the hell did AQ go?"
