First, get the siramods program here, and paste it under
C:\\Documents and Settings\\UserXP\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\siramods_items, remember to run the scanner to register all items in game

then get the fonts.erf file here, and paste it where it say so in the page,
i.e Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/data/

Then make a short-cut of daorigins.exe under bin-ship folder,
and modify the shortcut by adding  [space]-enabledeveloperconsole
under properties/target, see this page

and you will start game using this shortcut from now

Then if you know what the grave button is, good for you,
else change that to X, so it will look like this
OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_X
by open following keybindings.ini with with notepad
C:\\Documents and Settings\\UserXP\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings / keybindings

...and that is it, now make a save, but instead of typing the name of the save, like [finally lv 14],
type X instead, and you will see a command prompt in the upper left corner,
now press backspace once to delete the X,
and then, lets say you want one of those winter mage staff,
type
runscript get winter
[enter]
then press the cancel button, then drag the items with the word 'winter' you want from left box to right box,
then press the close button,
and now you have that wintersbreath mage staff.
it works for any item, like the bonefinger for Jarvia quest and everything else
