So, no one had the urge to comment on this reveal?
I have to admit, my first reaction wasn't that enthusiastic ... I have to be careful now and try to avoid any offensive remarks (and trying to ignore that I may have some prejudices ....) but that rather feminine look he has here ? Maybe it's just that particular shot?
Anyway, een then, the longer I look at him...I kinda grow to like it. I mean him. He kinda looks "unique", and it's hard to desribe...not too over-the-top? Elegant in a way, "smooth", not a brute like Vader was, or Maul, and not as goofy as Grievous and his ilk? I start to imagine he could be a really interesting villain, though he might not be what we may expected? And not what people would have liked him to be?
And yeah, I talk about the guy in black ^^ The troopers (obviously two scenes were melded together for the shooting) are really cool looking, no arguing here. Great design!
And edit: don't you just have to love this?

Please spoiler tag that top picture. That face reveal is spoiler city (which Kotaku's front page already ruined for me).

Thank you. I was pretty upset when I saw that picture on Kotaku, although I wasn't surprised that's what Kylo Ren looked like underneath the helmet since I suspected that

Those bubble-gum cards pretty much confirmed Kylo was played by driver... and that was back in like, December

Semi-Confirmed rumors:
Han Solo and Chewy involvement in this movie is nothing but a 2 minutes cameo.
Vader is resurrected.
Luke has fallen to the darkside.
Jar Jar is a Sith Lord.
Emperor's ghost is kicking ass more than his previous form now.

SpoilerI just believe that anyone who wears a helmet/mask should have their face revealed dramatically/over time like how Vader's face was revealed.
Well, personally I am not so much spoiled by the pic anyway. I mean, with all the secrecy about the plot this "reveal" only shows me that Kylo Ren is probably "maskless" from the start and his face, unlike Vader, is seen from the very beginning. I guess he only dons it for battle, as a kind of "Sith-thing", or maybe events in the movie lead him to hide his face?
Now if we talk "showing Vader's face in Return of the Jedi" way before the movie opened? That...yeah, would have been an annoying spoiler indeed...
Anyway, I don't think he is supposed to have a big "mask-reveal" like Vader (where anyone was wondering just how the damn guy looks like under the helmet...) ... otherwise they wouldn't have published the pics? Or cast a more or less known actor as villain in the first place (Well, if they had cast Karl "Dredd" Urban of course, it might have been different ^^)

I think JJ/Kasdan are smart enough to know they cannot rely on Lucas' or KotOR's "mask-reveal" trope. The plot & character arcs need to be intriguing enough that we are riveted and compelled to watch.
The writing needs to be on a mature, adult level. Period

To me, both T3-M4 and HK-47 are great OBSIDIAN Characters. Yup, you got it right.
Sure it was Bioware who created them, but in Kotor 1, T3 had nothing to say and served only to open the Sith Base door on Taris. And HK-47 isn't nearly as interesting as the one in KotOR 2.
In short, KotOR 2 made me like those Characters, but if depended only of the opinion on the first game, I would say Carth Onasi is my favorite than those two.

What do you mean? If I had seen that picture in isolation I would instantly recognise it as star wars.
