Lucas did this, Lucas did that. Enough BSing... STOP WHINING!

Love both trilogies and changes in DVD & Blueray releases already!

I really liked the part on the rebel blockade runner when the stormtroopers shot at Leia first.

I even have the VCD versions!
They're probably turned into dust by now!

Some sabers are. I don't know about keeping the parts together, but activation and length control have been determined by force manipulation. It all depends on the user and preference. And it is canon, don't let the Mouse tell you otherwise   B)

I'm not one of the EU fans, so I wouldn't necessarily side with you on that one. :P

At least with the movies Han used Luke's saber in RoTJ on at least one occasion, and Luke at first could use Vader's first saber without knowing how to use the force.

So do I, but I lack a VHS player to play them.

Our old one broke years ago, and finding a replacement is impossible.

Actually Lucas changed it. He decided he liked Moraband better than Korriban while the Clone Wars was being filmed.

The name change doesn't bother me too much, besides Korriban sounding better. The events of the original trilogy occur over 3,000 years after the events of KOTOR and SWTOR. It kind of makes sense that a lot could change within that time.

It sort of mirrors the real word in that. 2,000 years ago for example London was Londinium, Barcelona was Barcino, and Paris was Lutetia.

Personally, I hope this is one of the things that in-universe is like Burma, where the ruling government insists that the country should now be named "Myanmar", but most people refuse to call it that even after 20 odd years? Or like how Lucas insisted on using the term "Laser-sword" for lightsaber, even though he's the only one because everyone else thinks it's lame?

Yep, just more proof that he knows absolutely nothing and should have shut his cake hole from that point onwards?

IMO, I think I got lucky in having the Brazilian version of Star Wars... Well, all the whole prequel lines are made with emotion and it beats the crap out of the Original English Version. Even Anakin says Lightsaber, Jar Jar Binks voice is waaay more funnier (IKR?) and the emotion is well reflected in Anakin and Amidala's Scene.

Funny thing, did anyone ever notice that Luke resembles Anakin while Leia resembles Amidala? (At least for me... :? )

I thought the blades of Light Sabers was plasma? You can actually control, project and shape plasma.

Lol, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I meant actually the actors. It was quite a coincidence to find someone that resembled the Characters from the Original Trilogy, (For example, Natalie Portman and Carrie Fisher) even though they had no relation in real life.

Oh yeah, they do kinda look similar. I imagine it wasn't completely coincidental though.

I have the 1997 Special Edition of the OT on VHS, the content of which I am ok with. It's the later changes, especially Vader's NO in ROTJ, that ticked me off.

Han not shooting first and Hayden Christensen being edited in to RotJ are probably the changes that irked me most. Sometimes Lucas didn't know when to leave his movies alone .

We just need a Terminator to go back to just after Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, so we can stop Lucas before he ever starts work on any of the prequels or making ridiculous edits to the movies...

Plus it'll serve as a warning to 80's Spielberg, we'll give him a pass for when he makes the ET walkie-talkie edits, but if he goes ahead and makes a fourth movie where Indy survives a nuke in a fridge, we've got another Terminator waiting on stand-by...

C'mon, I can't be the only person who'd use time travel to save humanity from awful films? Actually, it'd probably be funnier to send Doug Walker back to do that job, after all, isn't the Nostalgia Critic's entire catchphrase, "I remember it, so you don't have too?"

Here's a question in TPM is Anakin younger then Armidalla?

If the answer to that is yes then how is it in Clone Wars and Sith he looks older then her?
