Here's a question in TPM is Anakin younger then Armidalla?

If the answer to that is yes then how is it in Clone Wars and Sith he looks older then her?

He's only about 2 or 3 years younger than she is. I think in TPM he was 10-11 and she was supposed to be about 13-14. As to why he looks older. I think they look around the same age in Sith, and in CW who knows. It's not that big of an age difference though. Also being a Jedi who fought in a war I imagine puts a lot of stress on the body even for a Jedi. So possibly he looks aged due to stress and wear.

Ha...... I thought he was like 9 in TPM and that line "are you an angel" kid shut up. Was he hitting on her?

Basically. It was George's failing at trying to write a "cute" scene.

It's funny because Portman was actually 17 years old when she played Padme in The Phantom Menace and Jake Lloyd was like 10

The cuteness is redefined completely in Episode I and the coolness in episode II !

I have the 1997 Special Edition of the OT on VHS, the content of which I am ok with. It's the later changes, especially Vader's NO in ROTJ, that ticked me off.

That 1990s re-release is the version of Star Wars I grew up with and it was that version I saw in theaters e.g. to me a blue lightsaber for Luke in Jedi just looks wrong. I was watching the old Return of the Jedi trailer and it just doesn't work for me at all.

Also, rewatching the OT recently, and I can absolutely see a lot of the horrid Lucas-esque tendencies in the movie. Even Empire has these weird physical humour moments (but you can see Harrison Ford just WTF his way through it, which takes these silly and corny scenes right back into funny territory, since he's thinking what we all are thinking).

Joss Whedon apparently may direct not only a Star Wars film, but the Boba Fett film at that. Could be interesting if true. Actually I could have more faith in him to direct a SW movie than JJ, espically when it comes to good characters.

Thoughts?

I can't wait until he makes another female character that'll earn the ire of the Internet.

I haven't seen the most recent Avengers film, but in general I like Whedon's work (especially Buffy). I think JJ has a better visual sensibility than Joss does, but Joss has a better grasp of character and a better understanding of the tropes he's working with. With Joss, I don't worry about him piling on mysteries for the sake of mystery, whereas with JJ, I do.

Any good looking actor/actress in Episode VII? At this rate I and the old Han Solo look better than all these new actors in this movie!

Oh god. The last thing these movies need is a hatch-esque mystery of the Sith/Jedi.

Well, he's already proven he can direct a decent Han Solo movie... or are we forgetting Serenity?

Han not shooting first and Hayden Christensen being edited in to RotJ are probably the changes that irked me most. Sometimes Lucas didn't know when to leave his movies alone .

That added music number at Jabba's Palace was the worst. The singer looked like he had been copied and pasted in from a Pixar movie.

I hope we could get a movie set during the Force Wars or Great Hyperspace War. That'd be cool. And at least the GHW is movie canon.
