I LOVE that fan-made poster of episode 7 with the lightsaber and tons of lens flare. LOL

Speaking of CGI, I really hope J.J. Abrams has learnt to cut back on all the fricken lens flare.
What's wrong with lens flare? ![]()

Don't think the lens flares are going to make a big impact on Star Wars 7; IIRC, JJ Abrams' idea was that adding all that lens flare was a way to convey the brightness and optimism of Roddenberry's vision of the future. Star Wars, while not really dystopian, isn't that kind of universe. My bigger worry is if JJ goes over the top with his 'mysteries' and such. Just not sure that's the best fit for Star Wars.

Old Republic ( with full scale Sith vs Jedi war ) would be pretty cool.

Unless she's playing chewbacca's wife.......
Oddly enough that was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard about the casting. Now that I have had more time to think about the casting, with the right make up I think she could make a very good female Sith Lord similar to Asajj Ventress from the Clone Wars carton series. She has the size and the presence and she obviously has held a sword before and knows how to use it.

^ This is the fan-made poster I was talking about
Its a great looking poster.
The talk about posters remindd me of a new sci-fi fantasy coming out

I saw that and my first thought was StarWars.
No badass lone guy walking at you, no dead eye stare at the camera (well Drax but still at the background)and as beautiful as I think what you linked but what is it showing. I look at that and my expectations are a somber drama.
As far as episode seven was concerned I was rather hopeful Disney got it... then Abrams was named director. WTF has this guy done that is so great he deserved to be put in front of the two biggest SCI-FI franchises in existence?
