I'd like to see some really, really, really tough aliens invade the galaxy and start ripping what is left of the Empire to shreds. Could be fun.

I would like the Vong to become a threat so the start of the Empire has meaning lol. I always liked that idea the Palapatine started the Empire to prepare the Galaxy for a threat that he foreseen.

But he didn't... All he did was grab onto power for his own selfish ends. He didn't care about anyone.  He was just another evil S O B

Yeah... If the Vong threat was mentioned in-movies, that could possibly happen in the SW:VII or others... Maybe even a spin-off...

But it's one thing that was in the Expanded Universe that got un-cannonized, so eh... why bother?

No Vong please but, just picking the idea up and tossing it around...I could actually think of something along these lines...like, let's say Kylo Ren is just a second-fiddle badguy in the First Order that is simply a re-named Empire (public relations-thing). And the resistance is mostly viewed as terorists and such, but in the first movie, it plays out as expected: Those two factions fight each other...

But now Ren unravels something very old, that was long asleep...something like, maybe the original Sith-Race? And their warriors etc...and he unleashes them (Exar-Kun-Style) onto the galaxy, eventually forcing First Order and Resistance to team up towards the great finale to save the otherwise doomed galaxy...

Could also set the foundation of something like shown in those Legacy-Comics, with a reformed constitutional benevolent Empire with Imperial Knights etc. I never really read those comics, only read "about" them on wikis etc, but I liked those ideas  a lot!

But no "extra-galactical" Vong-likes etc, it never felt much Star Wars to me, more like Star Trek (Vong = Borg etc)

But the real question is: How will Cad Bane fit into Ep. 7?

I really need to stop I know. It's becoming cathartic.

Yes Like Luke, she will be a Jedi. Best way i would describe her is a Scout/Melee Duelist as of Star Wars Saga Edition. Luke was a Scout/Jedi Guardian with OT and Anakin was Scout/Guardian

It totally won't be the guy that looks different than everyone else and who also always dies first in horror films...

It would actually be quite cool if they somehow flesh out the whole Sith/Jedi thing now in the movies (instead of only the EU). When you watch the movies alone we never learn what the Sith are (except for evil), how they came to be, the rule of two (which hopefully gets scrapped anyway now because we need more than two Sith for the new trilogy "Sith Wars" ^^). For all that drama Sam Jackson and his posse make about the Sith, we are told not really much about them. For example they could have really thrown out the whole droid factory-chase-scene in Ep 2 and use the time to give us some background-info on Count Dooku, the Sith etc...but hey, probably Lucas had no real idea anyway...

Now old ruins, temples, exotic places of old artifacts being hunted etc, you know, adventure-stuff. Instead of space-taxes and all that bullshiat...I hope at least some of these "classic" elements will be in the new movies. Something like for example in Jedi Knight 2 when Mara Jade came to Dromund Kaas, the old ruins there, even years after it has left an impression on me...

Though whenever I am on this board, see the pics, read the stuff of you others I already imagine myself sitting in the cinema, cold December outside, then hearing the fanfares and reading the scroll-text and ... trying my best to ignore the pain in my fingers as I cramp them desperatly into the seat, praying to myself "please, please movie, do not suck..."

@Vox Draco I like the idea of The Rule of Two. It makes them seem more elite IMO. But I also agree, more Sith is good.

Goood....goooooooood..... good *Palpatine cackle*

Clone Wars kind of messed up that rule, when Maul was left alive. Aparantly Palpatne just stating that Maul is no longer a sith, is enough to work around it. So basically Palpatine could have trained 50 000 sith-lords, and just said "you are not a sith" at the end of the training and the rule of two would be intact.

Well was Maul really ever a true Sith to begin with? I mean he was an apprentice when he was injured. And besides Palpatine muddled the RoT anyway. He had many acolytes and "apprentices". But really only Vader and maybe Dooku actually made it to being close to a Sith. Palpatine would never allow anyone other than himself to be a Sith Lord.

Well Palpatine also had numerous force users trained in the dark side (Mara Jade and the Inquistors come to mind) but they were never considered Sith either.
