Now that leaves us with a debate.... What should those three shows be about?

I'm hoping that one of them is the one that they have been working on for years and already have 100+ episodes written for; the one with Boba Fett and focuses on the Criminal Underworld. I'd also like a Darth Vader show where he hunts down and kills Jedi, but maybe instead of that... an Imperial Commando show that has a team of Imperial Commandos that goes on dangerous missions and occasionally fights Jedi? I'd also like an Old Republic era show since Kotor and Swtor aren't canon anymore.

I have a funny feeling that a few particular things/people from KotOR are indeed still canon...

Nope, everything from Kotor and Swtor is non canon. Darth Bane is the only thing from the Old Republic Era that is still canon. Revan came close because he was originally going to appear in the Mortis arc of the Clone Wars, but his appearance was cancelled last minute.

Well, if they're still supporting SWTOR and letting KOTOR 2 upgrade (even slightly), maybe Revan hasn't been entirely abandoned...

Not impossible, but I believe Revan is canonically male, and the Exile is canonically female.

 

For whatever value of "canon" they are

Who cares what gender Revan is. As long as there is something/someone from KotOR in ep. 7, I will be very excited!

That got scrapped. They replaced it with Rebels. The Dark Times Kenobi spoke of was really a goofy slapstick time.

well mybudgee and several members here know how I feel about bringing Kotor 1 and 2 into the main canon with a good remaster I mean.

Bioware should do a kotor remake a bring back Darth Revan completely. Imagine the game next gen. Also remember according to Casey Hudson Kotor is the game that inspired Bioware to create Mass Effect

to me, if they are going to have remaster Kotor 1, they should let Obsidian remaster Kotor 2 and both of them work on a dedicated Kotor 3.

Well, so the "Force" awakens ... both light and dark are gone or asleep, as the title suggests ....Sith are all gone, Jedi are all but gone (Luke, maybe Leia).

 

So the perfect opportunity for characters of all sides to search and learn about the past of the "Force", force-spirits, datacron-holograms, relics, that kind of stuff. A mere mention of "Revan" in a conversation would be enough to make fans happy, and all others wouldn't care anyway...or a specific mask, apparition dressed like Revan etc...

 

Though I have my doubts for this to happen it would be cool...

 

And to those Netflix-series? Well..it might have possibilites but the thing with Star Wars is: It takes place in a galaxy far, far away, and not in the streets of New York (or wherever Daredevil & Co take place). That means "BUDGET!" - CGI works wonders, but if it looks drstically more cheap than the movies? Not sure ... But if they go that route: Keep the Jedi-Stuff to a minimum and concentrate on "normal" people like smugglers, bountyhunters, criminals, brave soldiers of the Empire fighting against terorist-scum etc (and as soon as the ratings fall you can still pull a "Worf on DS9/Seven o Nine on Voyager" and get some Jedi on board to make the kids craving lightsabers happy and stuff...)
