I most certainly hope so. If I ever have to sit through that cringe inducing dance number in Jabba's Palace again, I'll take a goddamn hostage.

I don't like all the special edition adds but I thought that one was good because it brought the palace to live

I thought made that clear pages. Don't like it? Deal with it.

Hey! I gave you an entire post paying hommage to an awesome prequel-scene and amazing emotional dialogue, I thought you'd like it!

But enough of this, back to the future of Star Wars: I don't wanna read anymore stuff about evil Disney corrupting Star Wars or destroying it or whatever. Star Wars and Disney is destined for each other, the perfect match. If you do not belief it...let the POWER OF MUSIC truly convince you!

Watching that video makes me wonder. How many non-CGI Clone troopers were there? I remember Commander Cody and the Ki-adi Mundi death but is that it?

Lucas is terrible at writing dialogue, and then there's him being uncompromising with the script.

If he directed TESB Harrison Ford wouldn't have gotten away with the improv "I know." line.

Most of the dialogue in Episode 5 came from Lucas himself.

I'm convinced that the George Lucas who made the prequels is not the same one who made the originals. Some saboteur surely killed the real George Lucas and assumed his identity, then proceeded to systematically destroy the Star Wars franchise until their reign of terror was finally put to an end by Disney in 2012.

Literally no other explanation makes sense.

Well, I think that in terms of Episode 1 and Jar Jar specifically, he might have been trying to make the prequels appeal to his children. I wouldn't know though, but that's what variable I see that wasn't present during the OT. Of course, he was also surrounded by "Yes Men" when he made the prequels, back when he made the OT he had people around that would tell him that some things were bad ideas (like Luke being a midget).

To children in general I'd say. Wasn't the idea to "introduce a new generation" to Star Wars - hence Jar Jar Stupid, kiddy-Anni and a galactic-wide war between droids and non-people? But I'd say the idea of a midget small-person-jedi sounds kinda cool nowadays, in the "Age of Dinkelage". Would be cool if he'd joind the cast. Not as an alien or droid comic-relief - no, as one cool, badass muthafokkin Jedo/Sith/Ren. not using a lighsaber maybe as CGYoada did, but hammering it with the force nobody would dare to make height-jokes!

BUT!!!!! speaking of Jedi/Sith/Ren I had a thought this day(and probably many other on the planet? I'll just pretend its kinda unique and original by me ^^)

Georgie boy definitely needed some help with the prequels. He has the imagination but lacks the skills to translate it into proper movies without some help from professionals. He should've hired other directors and let some other people help him write the scripts, kinda like he did with ESB and RotJ.

Lucas had alot of oversight and creative control taken away from him during the OT. There's also the fact that he didn't direct or do the screenplay for ESB (which is regarded as the best SW movie) Lucas is simply not as good as people claimed and this was shown in full splendor with the PT.

I was joking around in that post.

It's my understanding he actually did reach out to Larry Kasdan and some other people to look at his scripts, but they all said no and I guess he decided to just go it alone after that. I don't think he's talentless but he's definitely not cut out to really lead on projects and needed more people working with him on these movies.

I still wish Lucas was involved. Say what you want but Revenge of the Sith WAS amazing. It's like episode 1 and 2 were not made by the same cast and crew, lol. RoTS was so good. Lucas actually tried with RoTS. The last 30 minutes of RoTS are the most epic content in the Saga. There's so much happening and such attention to detail and so well scored and filmed.

What I want to say is RoTS was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
