Man, there sure are a bunch of idiotic rumors floating around lately... the dumbest one is saying that the "Inquisitor" from the rebels cartoon will be the main villain. For God's sake people-- these are two SEPERATE timelines. "Rebels" takes place almost forty years earlier!!

You know what I really hated the most about the prequels? It wasn't the acting,it wasn't the bad stories,Hell it wasn't even Jar Jar Bink...... It was the ****** Midichlorians!!! Seriously! I was like......

Yeah, that was upsetting for all of us. I still firmly believe that it is space magic and not some microbial parasite.

They needed a lame way to turn the power of the force into a pissing contest so they came up with the stoopid midichlorians to use as a metaphorical measuring tape.

The whole influence midichlorians to create life could have easily been influence over the Force to create life. None of this pissing contest shenanigans ever needed to happen.

But how would they establish that Anikin was so special and so powerful with out having to write a more intelligent script? Oh wait., answered my own question.

Why did they even need to establish he was so special? All that Chosen One nonsense, is, well, nonsense.

They could, for example, not have had him murder some kids for the lulz.

What's so bad about this situation is, if George would have let a script doctor just punch it up a bit the very same overall story could have been told but in a MUCH better way. Just change a few plot points here and there, make the dialogue more natural and genuine and of course they hired two wrong actors to play Anikin.  It could have been great, instead it was a bowl of nonsensical, cold spaghetti.

"Romance" dialogue that wasn't like... terrible star wars fan fiction level would have helped a lot. It was just unbelievably bad. It was high school student level bad.

Well... Since Lucas has a back seat now I am pretty certain the 'M' word won't be uttered in a Star Wars film again.

I agree, I try my best to forget that it's even canon the best I can, especially when so much good canon just got thrown out the window while Midi-chlorians stayed. Not even Darth Plagueis' mastery of it could make it cool.

How?

How is it possible to feel any excitement when you just don't care about either side of the battle?

It's just me, but all those battle scenes are just really boring.

I have a soft spot for Clone Troopers. I really enjoy the concept of them, how they work with the Jedi, and how they go about their lives. The Clone Wars era is one of the few things about the prequels that has always managed to pique my interest and I think it all traces back to how the Clone Troopers came down in force to turn the tides of battle when the Jedi had their backs to the wall on Geonosis.

While we don't know the Pau'an lifespan in the new canon, assuming it is similar in length to Legends then forty years would be almost nothing for The Inquisitor. Granted, I don't think it's him as (assuming the picture is even legit) the skull shape of the inquisitor doesn't seem to match up with the new Sith in episode 7, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility that it could be.

If they make the new Sith Inquisitor the villian in Ep 7 that might be the nail in the coffin for me...

How could they do that? Unless Vader or Palp had been secretly training one I suppose.

Vader and Palpatine are both highly intelligent men. so they would have back up apprentices that are worthy to be A Sith Lord just in case if one of them die.
