It´s part of the pulp roots SW comes from. Same reason an oversized slug likes having scantly clad humanoid females around.
We're pretty darn sexy, dogs hump me all the time and dolphin and chimp attempted rapes aren't unheard of. I could totally see obese intergalactic slugs digging us.

Taylor Swift thread is that way -- >
The Maul stuff got WAY outta hand. Should've kept it short & sweet. Sorry Cap'n Obvious, but it was not exactly brilliant. *cough* Evil Ahsoka *cough*
Anything is better than this:
Maybe that's why I like TCW so much. It's just better than the prequels.

Sometimes I wish they had pulled an Alien 3 (and later movies) with SW just so some people understand something that really hurts.

I'm watching TCW, and frankly I agree with someone up there that was childish (Biobod?). Well, at least the 1st season. I'm in episode 17 now and frankly, they did invest a loooooooooot in Jar Jar Binks in that first season.
Seriously, if he's in any episode, the Republic wins because of his non-sense and stupidity. (Sorry for those words, but it had to be said.)

Sorry for the double post, but they're completely unrelated...
So, anyone percieved that Yoda, in his final word in Ep VI said: "There is another", instead of "Another, there is" ?

The first season and most of season 2 largely sucks. Season 3 is where it starts to get more mature in terms of plot and character progression.

If it makes you feel any better, I've sat through every single episode of the show. Every single one. I think Season 4 is the height of the show and then 5 has some great episodes, but some kid focused ones that suck too.
Also, just wait until you get to the arc with Jar Jar's girlfriend, ain't nobody want to see that. ![]()
PS: It has been a long day, I don't have much idea what I'm doing anymore. ![]()

Jar Jar has a girlfriend? Is there one where he's trapped in carbonite?
"Who'sa dis?"
"Someone who loves ya'sa."

I really don't like the original trilogy architecure of space. All that bland and old looking technology.
The prequel series which I grew up on, that looked like the sci-fi I see Star Wars to be, yet its downgrading. How sad.

One of the most cringe worthy scenes is the kiss between them. No amount of amnesia will make me forget ![]()

Ugh, Jar Jar... such a pointless character. Really, he could've been totally absent from all three movies and nothing would change. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon (himself a pointless character) could've just skipped the Gungan city and planet core and gone straight to the capital city on Naboo without any need for Jar Jar or the Gungans at all.
Hell, TPM itself was totally pointless when you think about it. Nothing really important takes place in the movie that they couldn't have just established in AOTC. I mean the movie kinda gives Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme some more detailed history between each other but none of that really mattered much since Anakin was just a little kid and barely interacted with either of those characters anyway. They could've just told us the histories of these characters through bits of expository dialogue and the effect would've been the same. A lot of backgrounds and concepts such as midichlorians, Anakin being some messianic figure, etc. were bad anyway and shouldn't have existed at all IMHO.
So yeah they could've just started with AOTC and rather than skipping most of the Clone Wars and going straight to ROTS, that they could've had a movie set in the middle of them and build on Anakin and Obi-Wan's friendship as well as deepening the relationship between Padme and Anakin, while maybe delving deeper into the Sith's role in all of it and maybe even Sith history which they don't really talk about much in any of the movies... in other words, take TCW and make it an official live action movie.
I mean, there were a lot of things Lucas could've done with the material he had but he just kinda slapped it all together haphazardly and we got three movies of pointless background stories and filler instead. It bothers me because there is actually plenty of stuff there to work with but it's just so messy and unrefined that it takes Dave Filoni and a bunch of other people to try and make sense out of it in a cartoon series.
It just makes me hopping mad. Damn you Lucas. ![]()

Season 4 was the best. Season 2 isn't as bad as people claim it to be and I suggest watching season 1 too to get use to characters and cartoony atmosphere. It has some good episodes too, but I don't mean those Ani'n'Padme episodes!

That tech looked used was one of the revolutionary design points of the OT, Up until then everything looked fresh from the assembly line. Tatooine looked more somewhere people had been living for a long time.
