I still take that ****, no questions asked
The film was about as dark as it could be. Given the studio and their usual demographic.I haven´t read the original, but AFAIK it makes the movie quite light in comparison. Hell, the girl ends up witht the guy who gets her hanged in the book for starters.
According to rumors Trailer #2 will have Han, Luke and Leia, will be shown at screenings of Avengers 2.

^ I hope so
Latino Review seems to be on a roll this week. They are getting the scoops for Avengers, X-men, and Starwars, it's amazing!
Seriously though... journalism is dead, people should really stop paying attention to those guys.

They were right about the last Star Wars 7 trailer when I and a bunch of others were skeptical, so I'm erring towards believing them this time around.

Latino Review have a long reputation for getting good scoops in general. If they report on something, I'm inclined to believe it.

There is a site that's full of it that starts with Latin, I believe it's called Latin Post. I think people commonly get the two confused with each other, it would be pretty easy given how similar the names are.

Really? Even after getting scoops like Phase 3 Planet Hulk movie, Jason Mamoa as Drax the Destroyer and that Benedict Cumberbatch in Starwars wrong? They might get half of their stuff right but they just seem like they're spit balling predictions and calling it news.

How is that different from any "media professional" anymore?

I am not really excusing global media here either. Editorial opinion pieces being used as actual news is very common now and I think that's terrible trend. My point is its best to wait on news from official channels rather then get your hopes up on what Latino Review "reports". Verifying sources seems to be a lost art in journalism. Its world where whoever reports first (regardless if true) wins.
Didn't mean to be a downer though. I love starwars and I hope the next trailer is going to better then the last. I just thought it was weird that all these news sites were getting these scoops from just one place...

Fair enough, I can see and agree with your viewpoint. ![]()
This is all a matter of belief or faith in the journalism site anyway, there will either be a trailer in May like they said or there won't be.
I will say that the Star Wars crew has been very protective of everything that has to do with Episode VII, so verifying any sources regarding that could/would be a monumental task.
The thing about sources getting things wrong is that the source could be making things up or they could be a reliable source and could have misinterpreted something that they saw (made an honest mistake), things also change and get scrapped. You know, I think that Benedict Cumberpatch might have visited the set a while back (I might be misremembering), if that is the case then maybe someone (a source) saw him and assumed that he had a part in the film.
Skepticism is a good thing though, it can keep expectations in check and make things be not as big a let-down as they could have been. We'll all just have to wait until The Avengers 2 airs.
I'm a little bit late, but Star Wars isn't a Dark Saga. Of course, there are it's dark moments like Han being frozen in Carbonite, or even the Whole Episode V, which showed the potential of the Empire and the certain defeat of the Rebellion, forcing them to regroup.
Then, there is Episode 3, which (In a certain point of view) shows Anakin killing Children and that moment when he "fell" in the Lava Pit.
IMO, just those, being Ep 3(Despite many critics) the darkest movie overall.

I really didn't notice that Obi-Wan had a beard

There´s a pararell between how Jedi feel about lightsabers and samurai with their sword sets, representing their souls. Hence the significance of giving Luke Anakin´s saber as belonging to the Anakin persona regardless of what he did with it after becoming Vader.
Being a Rurouni Kenshin fan, I go more with Hiko´s words, it´s a weapon and it´s used to kill and all else is just fancy words.

I find it quite odd that they had to point out "Beard" in that book...
I did post that too, Lol. But had Spoiler Tag, because many people wouldn't like to know what to expect on the movie...

Peter Mayhew, Chewbacca's actor, is currently in the hospital with Pneumonia, thankfully he is expected to make a full recovery.
He's had more than his fair share of health problems these past few years, it saddens me and I wish him a speedy recovery.
Sorry for the double post, but I didn't feel right wishing someone a recovery in a post and then splitting it off and talking about something else.
I came across this neat little video today and thought it might interest some of the other Mark Hamill fans:

But Jason Momoa actually was up for the role. He turned it down.

Not every rumor they dig up comes true but they don't just make them up out of thin air either. So I still give them the benefit of the doubt when they report on something.
