C-3PO actually had funny moments throughout the O/T.
Your sense of humor is different from mine there. I just found him annoying, and at moments such as the carbonite freezing I couldn't fade him into the background, something I could do with Jar Jar in Ep I. Now Clone Wars JJ was another matter, really wanted him killed.

Other way round, OB1 would let him fall while QGJ would save him. After all, JJ risked the penalty for violating his banishement and OB1 would have left him to it.

Watched Star Wars Episode III today. It's also the only one I have on DVD. Lol. I'm waiting to see if the original versions of all six films will be released on Blu-ray in the future.

That's quite impossible unfortunately. FOX owns the distribution rights for the original Episode IV for eternity. I don't see them letting that go any time in the near and/or faaar future.
