No, seriously, there are Revan fanboys already insisting that Kylo Ren must be Revan himself.

 

I mean, what are the odds of Kylo Ren simply being an entirely new character, amirite? (That was sarcasm, by the way.)

 

Never mind the fact that Disney said that The Force Awakens was a completely original story.

I hope not since I really don't like Revan -- Outside of KOTOR 2, he's incredibly bland and uninteresting. It doesn't help that I still find that lightsaber to be incredibly silly looking too.

Um, Anakin showed up as a Force Ghost at the end of Return of the Jedi.

I know that, I guess that could explain the present tense. Wonder if we'll see a bunch of force ghosts? Kind of hope not, Luke talking to a father who looks younger than him would be awkward and strange.

As a fan of Empire and none of the other movies, I have to admit this teaser seems promising enough.

 

Not expecting the world, but a solid non-embarrassing action movie would more than do it for me.

Honestly, it looks okay. Nothing great. I mean, it looks like they're really cliche' it and cashing in on nostalgia, I think the new cast members will dominate the film too be honest. I think the original cast members won't have a lot material in this movie. They're just using it for hype and to put people in the theaters opening weekend. 

 

Like with anything from Disney, my expectations are greatly curved. So maybe I'll be surprised and impressed. But...I won't be shocked it I'm not. 

 

 

That said. 

 

 

I will be seeing it at Midnight release. December can get very cold where I live, but.... I will tough it out like the uber Star Wars nerd I am. Nothing will stop me from seeing this movie on day zero. Nothing!!!!
