Oh dear God! That trailer!!!!!!
Funny thing, Chewie is more CGI than ever, no?
But, oh the feels! The Music! And more feels! Daaaaaaaamn!
I'm going to need a new avatar.
Less Explosions than Michael Bay
Here's a better image of the brief flag scene in the trailer. The figure up on the podium int he center doesn't seem to be wearing a mask. He's also surrounded by other black-garbed figures, so it seems that what he's wearing is not his own personal outfit and is either ceremonial or professional (like a Grand Moff's outfit).

John Boyega's sweat can fill up entire lakes.
It seems we still have Nazi-like villains:

About the trailer:
That Dark Stormtrooper really means business!
PS: Chewie... We're home!

>Star Wars
>Subtlety

Forget lakes, he can fill an ocean. I shall call it the Boyega Ocean!

greentexting outside of 4chen are we?

I only wonder...Look a the center of the image(End of Trooper's Corridor)... Is that a Snowtrooper?
Well, looking at the surroundings, it definetly is. Also, about those Black Robed Figures, maybe the Rest of Moffs or Sith Disciples or something other than that?
Also, look beside them. 2 Stormtroopers that are different from the rest. They DO resemble SandTroopers and could be the remaining of that Sand Planet expedition? (Damn, I'm getting too far) Or it could simply be Commanders...
It's really made me wonder now as to what they ultimately accomplished over the original trilogy since judging from the trailer, the (rebranded) Empire seems as strong as ever and the "good guys" still seem to be the same plucky underdog type fighting against the odds based on the title of "the Resistance". Did the deaths of Vader and The Emperor just create a power vacuum that was immediately filled by others and the Empire mostly kept going as before, or did the rebels manage to create a short lived New Republic that was rather quickly overthrown?

What is this 4chen you speak of?

Personally, I wish the Republic would get a more professional looking military. They aren't rebels anymore, damn it.

Given the fact that description for the Incom T-70 (the X-wings in the trailer) referrs to them as the "Resistance," it seems that they still are.

Hmmm... so people who don't seem to learn from history, but simply give in to base emotion and greed? That reminds me of something familiar....
Oh well, nevermind
*continues to nerd*

Seems like they refuse to move out of the rebel tree house and get real jobs.
"First Order"
vs
the "Resistance"
Beats the hell outta "Evil Trade Federation" or "Confederacy of Independent Systems" or "Meesa no have-a-Boom-a"
The recent trailer uses Luke's dialogue with Leia from ROTJ, when he reveals that they're brother and sister. Skip to 1:34.
I always wondered, what's up with this horribly inefficient space planning in Star Wars spaceships/-stations. You'd figure there's lots of useful things you could built into the empty space if it's big enough for bloody spaceships to fly through.

Hmmm... Luke? Or someone else like Kylo Ren?

Indeed. I don't think it's the same audio, but Mark Hamill speaking the lines for either the film or specifically the trailer. He says "you have that power too" a bit differently. Also, his voice seems a bit more ...gravely
