Not necessarily a bad setup. Mine's, uh, weirder.
No AF for me, see. I don't like having to worry about the time limit. So I just don't use it. Plus, the way I specced DC will kill gold Phantoms in one cast.
I ran no AF for quite a while and did ok. Did have to put up with quite a lot of snarking from BSN.
I've just switched to a no passive build, and I'm not sure it's any better for me. I seemed to kill just as much stuff throwing DC BE's from a distance, while the full passive tree gave her a lot of power.
As I'm not a fan of the Acolyte I run the Eagle, which is actually very good. As others have said either Warp or Incendiary ammo.
It's fun however I play her, but I 'm not sure I'll ever master her
