Hello there!

I wanted to change the party limit with the toolset, so I went to Plugins and Campaign-Editor then I changed the number at PartyCreationSize from 4 to 6 and clicked on save campaign. Then I quit the toolset. But when I reopen the toolset PartyCreationSize is again 4... It's the same with the original campaign and X1 and X2.

Where is the mistake?

Thanks a lot for help! :)

Party size is one variable that always resets itself to default when you reopen the campaign editor. Just remember to always change it back to what you want if you open the campaign editor again.

Tchos, do you mean that the variable will remain saved in the campaign as 6 for example, as long as you don't open the campaign editor again ?

this sounds exactly like what happens on the Spells tab of an NPC. The number of spell uses resets to one, and goes permanent when the module/blueprint is opened & saved. ( or something like that )

So, everytime you re-open the module you need to set the number of spells again :) ?

Yes, that's correct. In my experience, it will remain saved and functioning at the number you put in, until you open the campaign editor again. My campaign has a 5-member party limit, and I have to remember to put "5" in there every time I open the campaign editor, but that's not very often anyway. I noticed this bug after it had happened twice after making some campaign changes, when my I found my party limit was suddenly lower in playtests afterward.

There may also be other settings in the editor that get reset. You might want to take note of what settings you intend, or a screenshot of the campaign properties with everything set right, just to compare it with when you open it next time.

Thanks for the answers! So I just have to think about editing the variables again every time I open the editor. I thought it wouldn't save my changes at all without any effect on the game. ;)

Is it the same with the level cap, btw?

I haven't done anything with the level cap, so I don't know.
