This is my views of it in brief:

I liked that it had more distinction between what class you were than ME, with class specific cutscenes and dialouges.
I Liked that companions talked to each other more often, I found some extremely funny, especially Varric pleading with merril to be more cautios, and of course anything isabella/Avalene
I liked that you didnt have to wait for the final mission for romance.
I like that it seemed slightly more open and with more choices than ME.
I liked that the combat had been slightly improved from DA1
I liked that there was no "Bard = Rogue" companion.
I liked interacting with the variety of companions. The way they seem more dynamic than the ME ones, you can lose them like Carver and Anders ect.
I like that theres no Paragon/Renegade persusaion mechanic, and your choices are actually down to what you think is best. And what you think eill influence your friends.
I liked playing a Bioware RPG.

I didnt like that the combat had only gone from being "worse than KOTOR" to "Worse than Jade Empire" Its a step up, but its still rubbish compared to ME or Elder Scrolls.
I didnt like the small restrictive maps, generally a few small areas connected by corridors, again compared to Elder Scrolls.
I didnt like the ridiculously blatent re-using of areas, even to the point of having sealed off doors that would clearly be opened in a differnt re-use.
I didnt like that AGAIN people go on about "Oh the Templars are locking up ALL the mages!  Aaargh theres no escape! Oh Noooooo its the main plot point of the story!" and yet I can walk around as a mage, with my two mage buddies, balsting off magic right in front of Templars, and they'll be like,
"Whatever."
It undermines the entire point of the plot. Gameplay and story segregation is bad Mkay?
I didnt like the unrealistic damage, if I set someone on fire, he should die, not have to be chopped burnt and frozen 20 times before he dies.
I didnt like that people claimed mages and abominations were so powerful, thats why they had to be locked up, and yet I kill both by the dozen, just as easily as anyone else, because their classes are balanced. Gameplay segregation again.
I didnt like that you were encouraged to ****** off your companions just as much as make them like you. Why would they get a bonus for disliking you? Theyd just leave. (Sometimes they do)
I didnt like the quest setup, that would only tell you the latest update, and often not even explain, so you could spend a quest running from gold arrow to gold arrow without actually knowing what/why you were doing, just killing anything red.
I didnt like the lack of lock bash, or the fact that you dont have a lockpick mechanic like Oblivion/ME, and you cant even TRY the lock/trap unless you have enough skill.
I didnt like the equipment setup - +15 attack and 3% anture damage and 12 defence vs 4% physical damage and 3% stamina regen an-AAAARGHGH I DONT BLOODY KNOW WHICH IS BETTER! These stars lie! They often say something way worse has more stars!
I was a bit dispointed with the Ending, it left me unsure if Id completed all my companions quests - was Merril ever supposed to fix that mirror? It seemed to nulify my choices - doesnt matter who you choose, kill both Orsino and meredith, and then it just kinda ended. Kill the boss a brief clip of him walking away. End. I also hate endings that dont let you play afterwards, savouring victory is one of the best bits, it makes you fell like it was for something. ME2 did this well.

Overall Id give it 6/10 Quite good, but a little dissapointing.

Also for fun:

Avalene = Ashley - Tough by the book femal soldier.
Varric = Garrus - wisecracking sniper.
Merrill = Tali/ME1 Liara (AKA my 3 romances, I guess I have a type ;P) Naive alien girl with special powers, trying to do the best for her clan, but may end up exiled for her trouble.
Isabela = Happy Jack - ****ty female criminal pirate, with close combat/support role, a traumatic past and a heart of gold.
Anders = Kaiden - Whiney gay guy with special powers.
Fenris = An anime parody.
Carver/Sister = Dead.
