Well. I just gave Wynne the "blood mage" specialization. My mage is in possession of it, too. Apparently Wynne found out that I was a Blood mage, and turned on me in camp. The irony is: the first attack she used on me was a blood magic one.

Technically, it could be said that Wynne's character (according to her revealed backstory) is already rife with irony/hypocrisy, so I suppose this isn't too far out there.

I guess the devs figured if you actually care about characterization you wouldn't make her a blood mage. If you do make her a blood mage, clearly character consistency is not high on your priority list so you shouldn't care.
