[Anarchy Hoax]

I bought  a copy of DA:O Boxing day the 1st play through ran smoothly.

But now at certain points during a second run through I seen the game hanging on me at different part of the game.

1:  When Killing High Dragon. (Game hung and stailed out my ps3 Music still playing normally in background but the screen and controls were frozen.)

2:In the deep roads (same as above)

3: In the Final Battle. in the Market area. (same as above)
 
4:And once again when fighting the Arch demon (Same as above)

Mine freezes on me intermittently but rarely in the same place. I had no problem on my first playthrough but it froze on me quite a bit on the second time. Now, it tries to hang at times but if I hit the PS button on the controller then go back into the game it seems to kick it back into gear. Not sure if this might help your problem though.

Nope didn't work but thanks anyways. When I freeze none of the buttons on my controller work. But get this after 2 mintues in the frozen/ hung state my ps3 system automatically restarts

i got my first freeze at the Joining scene...



it happened when i let the cutscene run its course, then it froze just as it tries to switch back to game mode.



previously i just skipped the cutscenes...



i had subtitles on all the time, hope it adds to the troubleshooting.

I am wonderingwith the hang ups on second thrird fourth, uhm fifth play, if it is because it searches all of the saves? just a question to ponder.

just wondering if some one has figured out why this game keeps freezing up...it only has started this about 3 days ago and i have been playing for about 3 months now no problems only reciently?

its really frustrating when ur trying to play and frixin whole console lockes up u cant do any thing but shut it down an restart!

It's likely because of the new Sony PS3 update. There's been ALOT of freezing for just about everyone that downloaded that evil thing.
