It's covered...did she get hit by an attack in that eye? I would think it's just a hair restyle..I have been asked that it might be a symbol for what is to come..an all seeing god that knows all and feels all. I could see that. David, the writer for this game/story..has a lot of Symbols in this game. I see what he is doing. It's very good...but it's a old story told out and is being told again. I see who Morrigan and her son will be..not good.. Where Felmeth is like Mosses trying to lead you to the right place but can only lead a horse to water. This is what Morrigan is about..is changing humans, taking away their freedom, love for family, love for each other and just a robot that just does what her son, says. Morrigan never was good..I had hoped she was. I know that Dragon age will have no better ending then ME3..but it's not a 3 way story. This story is more real then you know.

Eh, the hair-over-the-eye thing annoys me when I see it done so much.

Would much prefer if I could see both of Morrigan's beautiful eyes(gateway to the soul after all) rather than one.

I don't think its symbolism so much as it was done because it looked good.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate for her to lose her right eye?

No. Just no.

It's probably just a hairstyle.

Or Morrigan is Odin.

Don't like Morrigan's new looks. Hope it gets changed.
Expect it's just the hairstyle.

I could've swore I saw a hint of a scar on her upper cheek. Not sure if it is or just the way the 'lighting' hits her skin.

I like her hair, it's the outfit that bothers me. It's just doesn't seem "witchy", and it's pretty plain; even if they're having Morrigan go for a more civilized look her clothes could be better.

Indeed.  It bugged me a lot when it was done to Ashley WIlliams in ME3 as well.

If you're trying to create an expressive face, obscurring the eyes is generally not the way to go about it.

Happy 4th to you as well

I like Morrigan's hair covering her left eye.  I would like to see her with her hair down

Ashley wasn't in ME3, that was some other chick.

To me, Morrigan covering one eye is yet another esoteric symbol she displays pertaining to the same religious common frame, clearly evidenced by her whole Babylonian jewelry and outfit.

She made references to the pyramid with the one eye using her bra and necklace in Origins. She wears a Babylonian necklace (a sphere with widespread golden wings) in the Fires Above trailer. She uses dark magic and is not a healer by nature. Now she covers one of her eyes, another reference to the eye of Ra or the All-Seeing eye.

It's crystal clear where Bioware took the inspiration to create the character's appearance. I wouldn't be surprised if she wore a skull and crossbones ring next.

I hate the hair-in-the-eyes look for characters. Can't we give her a hairband or elastic or something to tie those suckers back?

Why would she use hair to cover a missing eye when she could wear an eye patch? It has been scientifically proven that eye patches are objectively better than fringes for both eye-hole hiding and looking good in a ball gown.

Fixating on Morrigan's hair-obscured eye...

Well, at least it isn't Quarian sweat.

I'm working on a theory that she located the millennium eye and is using it to read people's thoughts.
