So I'm interested in getting the mass effect trilogy and obviously the DLC to have a complete game experience but when I add up the price of all the bioware points I need for all the DLC for the PC version, the amount of money I have to pay is astronomical. How do I go about this guys?

Thanks

Don't buy it all at once, and don't buy all of it. Some of it like Pinnacle Station and Firewalker IMO are boring, and most of that armor and clothing and weapon and multiplayer DLC can just be ignored unless you actually want to use them.

And Genesis and Genesis 2 are only for those who haven't played the previous games and need to decide important ingame decisions so just ignore those.

If you are getting the actual Mass Effect Trilogy pack then a few of the DLC are included

ME1:
Bring Down the Sky
Pinnacle Station

ME2:
All Cerberus Network Content:  Zaeed companion & Loyalty mission, Normandy Crash Site,  Firewalker Mission pack, Cerberus weapon & Armour Cashe.

ME3:
Mult-player DLC (free anyway if not included)
Extened Cut (again free if not included)

the person above me told you what comes with the game. Here are the DLC's i recommend you buy:
_______________________________________________________________________________

ME2:

-Lair of the Shadow Broker ($10): A solid 2 hour mission, which is better than most of the missions in the main game. Liara is a temp squadmate, and you get a few cool things to screw around with after the mission. Also has major plot relevance for the trilogy.

-Arrival ($7): I havent bought this one, but i watched it on youtube. It's not bad, but you dont get to bring any squadmates with you. It does bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3 though, so thats why i recommend it. I recommend asking about this one though anyways.

ME3:

-Extended Cut (FREE) : Its not on the disk but its free and fixes a few things about the ending, so make sure you get it.

-From Ashes ($10) : Adds a crucial character/squadmate to the story, who is one of may favourite characters in the trilogy. Includes a 45 minute recruitment mission. Has important things to say when you take him on certain missions (make sure he goes with you on thessia). Also gives you a new weapon and an extra outfit for each of your squadmates.

-Leviathan ($10): A cool 2 hour mission. Watched the whole thing on youtube. it has great moments, especially the ending. This DLC does help foreshadow the ending, and gives info on the reapers origins. However, if you've played the games already and hated the ending, i dont know if its for you. It strongly reinforces the logic in the main ending, which why i didnt buy it, and why i still wont buy it. However, you may like it, so i do recommend you buy, especially if this is your first playthrough. Also, this DLC does add 2 extra weapons too.

-Citadel ($15) : I strongly recommend this one. Although i recommend that when you play it, play it after ME3's ending (make a save before the beginning of the end), it feels more fitting. It doesnt really go along with the tone of the game (lots of jokes, references, etc). It has a 2 hr mission, an hour long party, and plenty of character interaction, as well as a new hub on the citadel filled with crap to do. Theres also a combat simulator. also adds 2 weapons. If theres one DLC thats worth your money, its this one

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Now in the end this is cost alot ($52), but maybe you dont want so of the ones i mentioned. If you really dont want all the ones i mentioned, id say drop arrival and leviathan and watch them on youtube.

Also, dont buy any of the weapon packs or the alternate appearance pack for ME3, theres plenty of weapons and armour in ME3 as it is. The firepower pack for ME2 on the other hand may be something you want to consider as ME2 has the lowest number of weapons in it. And the Alt appearance packs as well. I suggest you go on the Mass effect wiki and take a look at the alt appearance packs to determine whether you like the outfits they give you.

As for the other story DLC, dont bother with them. Kasumi offers a pretty boring character and an extra weapon. Overlord is a cool mission, buts its like an hour long and has no relevance to the plot whatsoever. Omega is a 3 hour mission filled with nothing but shooting, and is extremely overpriced at $15.

You don't have many options. You can follow Rzibara's advice and buy only the important and well-done DLC. But then you risk the feeling that your game is still incomplete.

I'm still holding out hope that Bioware will put out an Ultimate Edition or put these DLCs on sale. Recently, Origin had reduced the price of the Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade by 50%, which gave a few ME3 goodies for $5. The big attraction in that is the 'From Ashes' DLC. So I picked that up. I don't know when it will happen again, though.

But ultimately, you don't have much choice. Either wait and hope or spend that money.
