I'll speculate that she has the two names to represents the two sides of her. 'Subject Zero' is the test subject, bad a** biotic weapon that someone created to serve some purpose. She probably thinks it sounds 'cool' and it reminds her of how bad a** she is.
'Jack' is the person that all of these things happened to buried within.
In marketing her character, BW seems to have wanted to focus on the 'Subject Zero' side to stir up hype. Initially, she may prefer 'Subject Zero' , but after you become closer with her, maybe she'll let you call her 'Jack'?

I was talking about punk in general. Not the ENTIRE genre. Every genre has sub-elements of folk and jazz, but only a minority really litsen to the fused crap. Most punk people listen to don't have folk or jazz in it, but whatever.
