But no one ever complains about having the option to torture, commit genocide, and kill innocent civilians that the game provides. Weird.

BioWare dropped the ball on this. All but one of the tat covered, shaved head, violent girls I know in real life are lesbians. And I actually know a few.
But seriously she has lesbian written all over her.

Though, I am slightly annoyed at the Arsia being this scapegoat for f/f. "They aren't really female, so its okay." Pffffft. I wish they did give a human female for a f/f instead of that bull**** line.
lol *goes bakc to playing ac2*

And she's not at the moment how?
I too thought she would have been, not that I would have romanced her with my FemShep, but still...

This isn't the Sims, it's part of a well-planned story and characters are as they are. Homosexuality doesn't bother me at all, but going after the developer for not including gay love interests is silly. This isn't a political statement, it's a game and Bioware's going to make the decisions that they think will make them the most money.asaiasai wrote...
First off it is a game, and as such the developers can make it do anything we tell them to do. They have a vision and they also have a bottom line, and alot of the time the bottom line will override the vision. To allow the player the OPTION to spend talent points to foster a relationship with a character that would normally not be interested in no way effects any game play or story line. Who sleeps with who has no bearing on the story, it is a diversion, a side line, an opportunity to add player created depth to the character, and so long as it is an option who cares? If the thought bothers you then do not spend the points to do so, but under no circumstances do you have the right to tell anyone what is right for them. If someone wants a male/male or female/female romance it has no bearing on your game, you play it the way you want to, i just expect that courtsey to be recipicated. Whether it works in real life or not it is irrelevant, we do not have Normandy type space ships but you have no problem accepting that, but get freaked out with an option to romance any character you want. Welcome to the 21st century.

Bioware isn't a company worrying about money. I think they are trying to cross genres and bring in more people to play their games. They don't want the money, they want the popularity.

Alot of people care...Everyone doesn't accpet everything.
That is thier problem and in no way should it have any bearing on me. The only right anyone has is the right to decide what is right ONLY for themselves.
And no romances had no bearing in ME and DAO, none that were integral to the plot. The only people it effected were the players who made those choices. All i said was that i wanted the option to do pretty much what i wanted with any character in the game. As this has NO real effect on the story what difference does it make, and if it is an option only those who want to experience the game play that way will be effected, unless your insecure, and that is your problem and your problem alone.
