They do not have to make anyone gay or straight, my point is if they let the player decide what orientation thier character is everybody is happy. Since romance is an option, who the player chooses to romance is irrelevant. The romances in ME,DAO and i am assuming ME2 have no bearing on the story so what is the hassle. If it is completely up to the player who they romance in the game everybody is happy. Gay Shepard or straight Shepard it is irrelevant because the choice is yours, and for a company to build a franchise that is all about choice in game play, then to shy away from just what is another irrelevant choice is cowardice. If the choice is the players there is no debate, i can see the down side as in what are we going to discuss but i am sure with the vast myriad or personalties we can find some point to debate just put this one to bed by allowing the player a choice, any choice.
