I am really glad the vid is helping out. I am making Platinum Guides next. I already have one ready but will explain those in those threads as its a different take than the one size fits all solo style and more suited per faction. I'll explain once that one is up but the tactics used on this Gold guide also apply to Platinum Solo's as well. I will do my best to detail as much as I can on these guides.

LOL ha ha. Caine and I are not the same person. Far from it.

Although all of the Platinum solo's I have done have also been guides I am creating total tutorial platinum solo guides that allow you to solo with mostly any character provided you use the tactics. This way you are not totally dependend on a specific character but are more dependent on a strategy and tactic.

Understandable once your skill has increased to that level that you can accomplish Gold solo's easily. Its the reason I dont do anymore Gold solo's unless they are Guides and/or flawless. Anything less is probably not worthwile for the subs or bsn as this is a team game and there are many guides on the individual characters and builds. 

Although the platinum solo's I have done in the past also serve as guides the new ones are very specific on tactics and strategies specific to platinum solos. Hopefully they are very useful to the community.

PIG pls ..... Yes the famous flamer trooper platinum solo guide:wizard:. I would make more guides but I'm done with platinum solos. I would rather do more gold solo guides like I use to as they helped so many. People tend to go more for the gold.....

Holy heck. Here we go. Sensitivity 1000%. Relax man and no not everyone knows this. I had even been asked online if that was one of my channels. Sheesh I have even had people here on BSN not know who you or I am at all. Im positive you wouldnt want to be confused as me.

I'll write what I want to write especially when what I write has no harm. If you feel that I wrote something harming bring it to the mods. I'll go and continue to be constructive in the mean time.

Mr. Invader, what are you doing answering Mr. Cain? Better to just ignore the post and not answer it if you don't want to throw some more wood on the fire so to speak.

If there's a post just asking for some drama, just ignore it and keep answering posts that actually have a good purpose in your thread.

Be the bigger man here and step away from the discussion before this thread gets locked as well which would only make many players miss out on your helpful guides.

Capacity mod for the Typhoon?  Don't see as how it needs that.  Mines at level VIII and the base capacity is fine.

You can cloak multiple times during the time that you shoot without having to reload and wait for another charge up period.

Thanks for posting this its very helpful. I'm just starting out with my TGI - yesterday held my first couple of silver waves together with it (3 down early on in waves 9/10 vs collectors). The weapon damage is crazy with this guy. It's like playing as Garrus

Yes the weapon damage with him is insane. If you are looking for other builds for him also check out Air Quotes's build which is also a good alternative. Try other guns on him as well like the Typhoon and you will see how great all weapons are with him. Go Turians!

I feel like a straight idiot for being so envious of this kind of stuff.

After not playing ME3 for almost a year, I went back to it, but holy crap am I behind the 8 ball in terms of characters and equipment.

I have nothing rated at level X beyond the Katana and...hell, I forget. A pistol I think, so the idea of even playing with a team on Gold, nevermind Platinum is a 'pie in the sky' idea to me. Hell, I can get by on Silver 2/3rds of the time, and that tends to be either because of a decent team who knows how to work together, or I blow through all of my medigel and Cobras.

I'd do just about anything for a Harrier, even a rank I Harrier.

I think, more than that, I'd like to play with some people that worked like a team, rather than running around whilly-nilly. Most, I've noticed, are very concerned with their medal count. Though, considering my low challenge points numbers(1975 since yesterday), I suppose that's a laughable number compared to some people who can openly discuss and perform solo Gold and Platinum runs.

One day.

OT - good videos, I don't think I've ever completed a Gold or Platinum solo without using any consumables. Had a few 10 waves survived but I'm addicted to Oops packs.

Edit: How many attempts did it take to get this done with no consumables?

Two. The first one I died on Wave 9 so I just bled out. This was the second attempt and it went well.
