Sorry for asking this question here, I still don't know how to register my Mass Effect Trilogy boxset (which allows me to post on the proper Mass Effect Forum.) so I'm posting it here.

So after an assignment (UNC:Hostage) I returned my character to the Normandy. So I just walked my Shepard around, and fitted my crew with some new gear that I found and suddenly, my Shepard briefly glowed blue.

What is this blue glow? Is it an indicator that my health/shield has completely healed? Or is it some other indicator? Or is it a bug?

If you mean a blue flicker sphere, it´s just showing Shep´s personal shield.

Couldn't see if it was a sphere, but I think it is. So it's just an indicator of Shep's shield having "healed" completely?

It's odd to me, since I have never seen this blue flicker in the game before and I've already played around 20 hours of the game before I saw it. Maybe i'm just not observant.

Heh, don't worry about it too much. :)

Also, as far as registering games go, on this forum only Mass Effect 2 and 3 can be registered as of right now, so if there's separate barcodes for each game, then I would direct you to the left of your screen right now. See Profile? Hover over that, then click Register Games.

Look for your game and platform that you want to register, and if you've got a bar code for that particular title, input it. If the box set only comes with one, then I wouldn't know what to tell you besides wait.

During missions I think it flickers when it´s fully recharged, in the Normandy or non combat hubs it just happens from time to time. But I don´t think it´s a bug, so don´t worry.

Yeah, it seems like I can't register the Mass Effect Trilogy boxset in any way. Oh well. Haha.

EDIT: Ah, so it's NOT random. I see.

Actually if out of combat, it only happens if you changed equipment that effected shields. Say you changed to an armor with more shields, or added a shield modulator to your armor, the armor will replenish the new surplus shield strenght, which will prompt the "shields restored" animation.
