I see Rachni on the other side of the door but cannot open the door with Door Control, decryption: Skill Too Low. I have Ashley and Liara in my party. Am I screwed? It seems like I can't proceed any further.
*if there is no other way around this it seems like I have to shelve this game once again. Tried getting back into it because of the Ultimate game sale only for the game to kick me back out of it.
Just a hit a roadblock and cannot continue with the game... bad game design?

Take a look at the conversation options with Mira again. I think I remember simply telling her to open the door. It may be a paragon/renegade option I'm not quite sure.

No, it's just the bottom right response, you command her to open the door and you have to fight the rachni. It's in the room to the right of the rachni.
