It seems that just talking to Kaiden leads him to believe I am interested in him. I pick only neutral and renegade options. I am not sure I picked even one paragon option in our conversations, yet he still thinks I am interested and eventually confronts me with Liara in tow. I found the same thing happened with Ashley. No matter what I said, she thought I was coming on to her. Is the only way for Sheppard to avoid a romance to never to talk to his/her crew?
How can I NOT lead Kaiden on but not be a jerk?

I think when he says "apologizes for rambling," I think what Kaidan actually says is more like "Sorry for telling you my life story," then you pick the bottom right option "You are right."
Think this is the "nicest" way, LOL.

I can't figure out how to actually romance Kaidan anymore. I used to be able to do so with minimal effort on my part - now it seems like everything I do is wrong.
