I thought about it deeply and I would have liked a full length dlc about the life of Alistiar.

He seems to have gone through alot through out his life...

What do you think>?

What phase of Alistair's life do you want explore in the DLC?

I don't think he did much, in terms of slicing people's heads and such. I mean he obviously had some combat experience when you start out with him but........

I think a DLC of Alistair exists, I mean not a direct one, but the darkspawn chronicles is as close as we might get to one.

If an actual Alistair based DLC ever was released, I would have enjoyed seeing him from the point Duncan first takes him from the Chantry all the way up to when he first meets the recruit(you)in the original game.

Then we could have seen the bond Alistair and Duncan had created before Duncans death(since it really seemed to devastate Alistair).

Other than that I don't know. Though I really liked Alistair(even though I was a dick to him the whole game)I never thought he really had a past worth investigating. Leliana is running from her homeland to escape a bounty thats on her head, and Morrigan is just Morrigan, we had to have a DLC about her.

A Zevran DLC would have been nice, see how the life of the Crows were from his eyes.

Yes, that's the biggest problem with an idea like this. I mean, it might be nice to see some more interactions between Duncan and Alistair, but how do you spin an Action RPG experience out of that?

It's the sort of thing better suited to fan fiction, really.

I'm pretty sure he had quite a few battles against the darkspawn even though he joined the Order few months before the Hero did, and I like the idea of experincing the bond between Duncan and Alistair....

I don't know, his life was not that exciting up till Ostagar. He was just a little boy hanging around Redcliffe till he was sent to the Chantry, it would mostly be dialogue if it was made into DLC I think.

I would like to know however, how the rest of his life plays out AFTER the blight. Doesn't necessarily have to be in DLC form either. Of course, that could be difficult to do considering how many different outcomes they are for him, depending on your actions.

Fun fact: a DLC involving Alistair and Duncan (I guess something similar to Leliana's Song) was pitched by Luke.

It never got made, obviously, but he told us it was one of the proposals, way back when.

A DLC just about Duncan himself would have made more sense. Duncan is one of my fav people from origins, and he's only in the game from your origin up until lothering. Theres more mystery about Duncans past than there is of Alistairs.

Yeah, I seem to remember hearing something like that before.

I've no doubt you could squeeze some action out of it, but all the same, I'm glad we got Leliana's Song and not Alistair's Joining, because I think the former was a lot more interesting.
