It is highly likely that in the DA2 version of the DA universe, Leliana was never killed in the first place. However, if that option does have to somehow be reconciled, then having read Asunder, I would say that the Guardian was kept alive by a spirit of faith and this spirit transferred to Leliana after you left the scene. From that point on it becomes academic since no one but Warden and companions knew that Leliana had been killed so most people wouldn't even question her existence. If a situation arose where she came into contact with one of her former companions, then they might well be enlightened on the subject but otherwise it would not be an issue. Leliana herself would see it as yet another sign that the Maker had favoured her.

If dragon blood is magical and so powerful, why does drinking it give you warrior powers and specialization instead of a new mage-related tree? (or both).

If Leliana used the ashes to save herself, doesn't that make her a reaver? Should she be given a more "dragony" personality in DAI if the warden killed her in DAO?

Well I highly doubt that shes a reaver also does Dragon blood has any healing capabilites?

Though its would still be a better explaination then "the make brought me back lol" to me the whole retcon was just unnecesary they could have easily done a Wrex/Wreave thing there

The simplest thing to do might just be to pull Flemeth back out of the hat. I think the timeline might be funky, given players can choose where to go, but it might be possible for some more "dragonly intervention".

In all of Flemeth's game appearances so far she's helped a character facing certain doom. It's right in that field for her to help Leilana for reasons reasons.
