Same here. Plat Pugs are the ones I've just given up on, but that's only because my voice is so hoarse from swearing at them.

Silver is more fun to PUG anyway; I can use crap like sniper rifles and the Falcon and still top lobbies.

However much I may criticize these PUGs though, I know it's making me a better player with all the bs situations I get put in. It's that realization that keeps me PUGging even with all the nonsense and rage.

On PS3 I PUG gold every day with no problem.
Same here.
Don't believe the idiots telling you that nobody is playing or that pugs are sh*t.
I do find that finding a Cerberus pug can take a while (my favourite faction, but not everybodies), but Reaper and Geth Gold I can find straight away.
Played a number of pugs last night. Two were bad (and hilarious). I dropped into an all Volus Rio/Cerb which was already going badly when I joined, and a Goddess Cerb where 2 players went down in the first minute of every wave.
These were the exceptions. About 5 other matches went well, all players scoring close together and everyone getting to extraction.
I've also tried starting games on my own, but I don't solo Gold well, so they don't normally last long.
I'm on PS3 and still playing, so add me if you want another Gold buddy.

I think people like you who support leechers and cadgers that are griefing legit players like Fatherofpearl might be the real idiots.hostaman wrote...

Glad it's not just me. I thought my connection was why it was taking so long to get a lobby. Funny thing, though, I got bored of waiting and dropped it down to Silver. Lobby filled up before I could change my class and take off my gear.
Maybe people did give up on Good Pugs.
I sometimes struggle to find Cerb/Gold and drop it to SIlver just for a game.
No problem as I still enjoy the more relaxed challenge of Silver, and I can easily solo waves if the teams bad, which I find more of a challenge in Gold.

Firstly, please forgive me BSN
But hang on! I never endorsed leechers!
Low skilled players in Gold are just players who either (a) don't realize the difficulty, (
Implying that all pugs are leechers is worse than me referring to some as idiots.

You are naive. People are doing this on purpose. Leeching is every ******* retard that goes into a gold game unprepared, with no weapon mods, no gel, no rockets. And that number has drastically increased. And on ps3 as well.hostaman wrote...

Improving basic weaponery and stuff is easy, you get them in recruit and veteran packs - that can be bought after playing bronze and silver games.
One can spot the leechers from the legit low lvl players that want to try a higher difficulty. Of course there are legit pug's, and of course legit low lvl players that want to try out a higher difficulty. These players have a reasonable loadout and a fully leveled character. But these players are usually screwed if there is not a very good player with them in the lobby.
Yesterday I entered a match just started three times in a row, always the same player, always dead after a few seconds. Did he learn? No. The fourth time I hit him in the lobby, already readied up again. Just hoping for others to get him the free credits. And that's just one out of many more examples. What is this kind of idiocy? That's griefing, period.

same on Xbox. If I have a friend on we will host and carry two of these leachers. But a lot of time these knuckleheads will just start a game and hope to be carried by people who join. I got dropped into a gold match where the jugg kept on dropping. After the match I realized he was a level one, and he readied up the the next match with no gear.Schachmatt wrote...

Either way, join the master race people! In case of doubt we can always just use a bot instead of PUGs! Mostly they'll even play better, ehehe.

Oh, I do not doubt the existence of terribad PUGs on PC. I run into those myself here and there. What I mean is I only run into those ... well ... here and there, not at every corner as seems to be the case for other people. And I PUG a lot.

Must be a parallel universe then. I pug a lot as well on- and off host 60 km away from your location and end up in games that has just been started 9/10 times. To find a decent lobby takes quite some time, too. Platinum is even worse. But if you mostly host you will get better pug's, as most of the leechers try to host anyway.Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...

So why do I not end up in your lobby if I search for matches and you're waiting for players in your lobby?Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...
