Why are threads just disappearing like crazy these days? Have the mods gone that lazy that they don't even care about editing anymore as they just delete whole threads instead?

I mean, a lot of threads here start out with a good purpose and usually there's a good discussion about the topic too. But then something happens and instead of the thread being edited or locked it is completely gone.

I for one would at least like to see the on topic discussions that occured before a thread got derailed. I don't even know how many times lately that I've been trying to check out a thread and I get greeted by the message saying that I can't view the current thread.

Talk about suppressing freedom of speech on this forum these days

And yeah, there have been a lot more threads deleted since the new mods showed up in town, I guess they're just lazy

A lot easier to delete an entire thread than actually get rid of offensive posts.

It's a shame Dax; they delete threads and permaban people rather than trying to minimize disruptiveness. It's easier since they're clearly on schedule. You'll see foolish posts linger for 8 hrs yet when those guys log on, if you even hint at something off topic they lock it within 10 minutes.

The new bots have strangled all the fun out of most here, the MP forum is a shadow of what it use to be. Most of the fun now is to be had in groups, I don't post in here as often because of this.

They have a system now where there are "Biowaremod01" through 05 profiles that multiple people use.

For some reason people find it impersonal and dehumanizing....
