 Yeah I know, I'm late to the party. However I have finally bothered to do it, just for the Lone Wolf banner really.

Went with the Krogn Soldier using Graal X and incediary rounds (dem fire explosions) got Geth (eeewwww) on Hazard giant (not bad but annoying when trying to get headshotos)

took 45 minutes which is pretty bad, I know, but wave 6 and 10 4 device objectives both required a ton of runing around. The first one especially where three hacks in a row were in the control room. Wave three was a nice, stress free hack circle by the LZ.

Three gels, two ops packs and 1 missile used when I couldn't be bothered to deal with the last 2 primes at the end of wave 10.

Just one more to go and that's another challenge out of the way, Though I think I'll set an enemy. don't think I can handle Geth again.

Thanks everyone. Yeah the U/U/G was a pretty bad idea in hindsight. I always knew Geth were annoying, but I didn't realize quite how annoying until I was the only one around for them to focus on for 11 waves. Though I guess it could have been worse, could have got Geth/Glacier. Or Collectors/Anything. first time I've really used the Graal properly, never realized how good it is, Had a lot of fun with it.

I actually chose Geth for mine - Giant/Geth with KroSent.Used Adas for mooks and lolreegar for primes and pinch. Inc IV ammo too, can't remember the objectives specifically (there was one escort, one hack, one devices from memory, can't remember what order). I too did it for Lone wolf as a 'What the hell' thing first time. Then I actually got it, forced me to do it again, hehe.

Congrats OP. Very brave choosing random faction/map.
Did my first gold solo a couple of days ago too. I chose Geth on Giant and decided to take it slow just so I could prove to myself I could do it (just over 1 hour). I'll try to go quicker next time as it was quite easy, especially with using the geth trooper, incendiary IV ammo, cyclonic IV and a crusader.
I used flamer less than I expected to. It's quicker just to shoot things when you've got a good gun.
Apart from the bombers which go down much quicker with the flamer.
Anyway, I'll get the Lone Wolf banner out the way and then try out some different builds/enemies (maybe not Collectors just yet though - I'm waiting for a level X cyclonic modulator for that.)

Your time is pretty average for a Gold solo actually. Just because you see a lot of "speedrun" solo videos here on this forum doesn't at all mean that your time was bad.

To be honest, the most important gear to take into any solo seems to be patience. The times I've failed is because I'm trying to kill one extra enemy before running or trying to do a bit more of the challenge (normally pizza) before legging it to safety so I can kite.

Nice job. Better than my first gold solo, which I finished about a week or two ago. I used the Alliance Infiltrator Unit, felt like I was literally hacking because it was too easy compared to other characters when solo-ing. Yeah, crutch class ftw!

You've got a quad op for going U/U/G. Not what many would do for their first gold solos. I tip my hat off to you sir. That's pretty good usage on the consumables considering you went against geth. When doing solos, don't worry about the time. Just concentrate on surviving, also kudos for using the Graal. Not many people use that weapon anymore.
