I have just started a New Game plus on ME1 and thought that I could keep the renegade points from the first playthrough, but discovery that those two bars is empty in the NG+ :(

Is is possible without using and glitch to fill upp them both? If so it would be great to get tips on how to do it :)

I don't think its possible,  none that im aware of it.  Morality doesn't carry over in a new playthough only your weapons, armor and experince.  There are certain parts in the game where it forces you to be either Paragon or Renegade like on Vermine, Feros and the Battle of the Citdel.  On my Solider playthough i try to be netural and choose the middle option and I ended up with my both my Renegade and Paragon bars half full.

This topic might give you more infomation :)

It's possible to use the Monkey Glitch while visiting Eletania to maximize paragon points, then play normally as a renegade to earn the maximum renegade points.
I don't recommend using Lorik Qui'in's glitch since it can corrupt your save data.

It's not possible to fill both however, you might check this page. http://masseffect.wi.../Morality_Guide If you do it just right you can all four points in charm and intimidate, I think.

Not to be a naysayer, but do you have anything you can cite to back that up?  I've seen that suggested in a couple places, but most of them said that what it screws up in ME2 is making Conrad Verner act like you stuck a gun in his face whether you did or not.  Elsewhere, I've seen this stated to be a general ME2 bug that occurs regardless of whether you abuse the Lorik Qui'in bug.

So...if this truly does corrupt something, I'd love it if someone could provide a definitive reference of such...anyone?

EDIT:  The wikia page for Lorik Qui'in acknowledges the glitch in the notes at the bottom but says nothing about it causing file corruption.  Since it mentiones lots of other bugs in all 3 games, I would think it would be here if it were confirmed.

I thought it was confirmed that using the glitch could cause save corruption, since that was said on the Wikia page. It never happened to me and I was just passing the message, but I wouldn't risk it since the Monkey glitch is easier and does the job.
It's true that Verner always says that you shoved a gun in his face.

I do not believe I have ever had a problem with the Lorik Quin glitch causing any problems with my saves. This is on PC (although I tend to just use console if I want to max both now... and usually I do because I get one more mission to play).

For what it's worth, I've had the Conrad bug in ME2 in every single playthrough but I've never once done the Lorik glitch in ME1. I'm fairly certain they're not related.

Okay...I was looking in a different spot on the wikia.  I also found the BSN thread by the guy who edited that into the wikia page and I feel like the evidence was a little less than totally convincing.  Another thread that I'm having trouble finding again was full of people who said thay used it and had no problem.

So...I guess use at your own risk?

The Conrad Verner thing in ME2 is a glitch with ME2, not with saves or ME1 (it doesn't import the flag correctly).

I was able to get the 4 free points in both paragon and renegade for my first run without putting any points into charm or intimidate, so 75% and 75% is certainly doable. I was almost not able to get paragon to 75% as I started on the renegade path first since there are a number of high paragon freebies in the storyline missions. You have to pick it very carefully though, I went full retard on it and did a spreadsheet to plan my dialog choice path. Replays give you more high charm/intimidate choices since you restart with 4/4 points.
