How do i get rune slots in armor to appear ?
i'm using cailans stuff in awakening  if it makes any difference.

See if selling and buying back works. If it doesn't, try the winter forge mod.

I will try that, selling / buying that is, but it goes for every armor i have, now picking up sentinel armor again with no luck.
There was also an issue i read of about winXP-2 & winterforge that may cause a complete computer crash

I have experienced this as well. Every playthrough there is a chance that one of the chest piece runeslots would go missing. Don't know why. Anyway, you can enable the slots using winter forge and then disable/uninstall it, if it's prone to crashes.

Its the winXP-2 that can crash, destroying the HDD while at it,
it was something about XML or something.
It will be OK if i install XP-3, but that is an awful lot of work.

I found it !!
I was using no armor hack for origins, but that is not compatible with awakening.
There is another no armor hack for awakening that do work tho, together with the patch for that version.
I now have 3 rune slots for evons, cailans, sentinel and i guess hirins defense too,
so now i wonder: which armor runes rocks most ?

Depends on the class and build. As an example, your Arcane warrior can use the endurance runes for less fatigue.
