I like Shale but I hope she's not a companion. A cameo is fine though. I want all new companions for DAI.

i might like that (i like the Golem - also i do not actively use her normally, as Alistair is a much better Tank IMHO)

Epilogues are only rumors most of them are worthless and a real like ufo endings in silent hill.

I kind of hope that bioware doesn´t resurrect Shale in order to make her a companion, but their track record isn´t very good on that matter.

Converted back to a dwarf we hope. Could be a nice party member.

If her skill tree becomes more fleshed out and give her a brand new weapon type then sure.

She could also simply be dead and not available as a companion in those playthroughs where she was actually killed and alive by default otherwise, Idc.

I've heard that Gaider is leery of dwarf Romances. I suspect it's because female dwarfs look so young he's afraid someone unfamiliar with the game might think they're children and hence believe it's pedophilia.
shrugs.
That's my suspicion . That's something he's afraid of.
So if true we might not see any female dwarfs as party members who are also Lis in the game, Shale as dwarf, Sigrun, or Dagna.
