I haven't seen much of him, but now there is actually a picture of him with the crew besides Miranda or Tali. I mean, why would Bioware do that?

I would cap him in a heartbeat if I was Shepard if he did that. But there is a whole lot of if's..and a but.

Since all squad mates can survive the suicide mission, that doesn't make much room for an inevitable Jacob betrayal, does it? He seems like a nice enough guy. But that's just based upon the little we've seen of him.
