Companion freeze in combat

First things first:

I know this is a topic for technical support, but frankly, the EA A&Q help center is pigeon crap and since our own help section was closed in favour for that EA fluff, I put this topic in here. It's just a short stint anyway.



The thing I encountered was nothing less than a total companion freeze. Just stopped everything, no longer doing anything, not moving, not responding to my orders.

Once I noticed the issue, I recorded so people can see what I am talking about:
Companion slacking off in midfight, caught redhanded on tape. That lazy knife-ear!



A short Google search did not yield matching results, so I wanted to ask if anyone had similar bugs and if there's a known fix somewhere to be had. The problem seemingly fixed itself after the fight/revival because as soon as the fight ended, everything seemed to be working normal again (for now, have yet to engage another fight to check).
