This is truely one of the greatest things the RWBY fandom has produced.
That is awesome, as much as I don't want Penny to turn out so... robotic.
And I know Its old news now, but I don't think I mentioned here that I really like how Velvet's design turned out.

To the first point, that I did
To the second, the BSN didn't let your normal forumite know how many posts they made, though I believe moderators and devs knew. I was around since pre-BSN, but once BSN came around there were quite a few major events that I had a huge part in. DAO/ME2/DA2/ME3 discussion as far as Bioware games went, Bioware's many "issues" in that time frame, MLP:FiM exploding into mass popularity, this very RWBY thread, the relatively new Frozen thread, etc etc
There was a lot to talk about.

Yeah, I don't want Penny to be a robot, but it is kinda implied she is somewhere in the artificial human spectrum. She kinda reminds me of a few characters from BlazBlue (if anyone happened to play those games).

Reasonable enough. Still, I think you may have the most posts out of anyone (at least that I've seen).

I want to see it animated and on her Poser animated model. It looks good in concept, the fan art folks have made is fantastic, but lets see it in practice before we get too excited.

I do.
If you go to the forum home there's a few buttons all the way at the bottom right to check who are the top posters of the day, who are the top posters overall, etc etc
Well look at that. Learn something everyday.

behold, for you are within the presence of another flabbermouth.
What on earth is a flabbermouth?
Yeah, I don't want Penny to be a robot, but it is kinda implied she is somewhere in the artificial human spectrum.
Aye. The unfortunate truth.
Or maybe RT's just fooling us into believing that, to build into a huge and surprising reveal about her true nature. Just like with Blake!

A flabbermouth is a flabbermouth, duh.
What do you think it is when I say that in regards to people having high post counts?
Don't you mean blabber mouth.

Hmm, fair point. Is this the first time in RWBY they've shown a character concept before their model?

That would the term for humanoids.

Well, technically we've seen Velvet's model.
This is the first time we've seen a major character without combat gear get it, though. Every other character has fought in the outfit we've seen them in.

And it is good that way. Fighting in your school dress is just silly.

Well, yah.
But she's gonna look a bit different in that armour.
I thought it'd be interesting to know if RT had released concepts of the other characters before showing off the models. See if there are any discrepancies.

Not that I recall. There's concept art of the characters I'm sure, but released prior to the show's launch, nah.

Unless you happen to wear practical outfits with bullet proof material and official school guidelines require to be armed with a gun and a knife at all times (Hidan no Aria), why would any sane person want to fight dressed with no more than two layers of simple cloth between harm and your body? Nevermind that school outfits are usually not designed for maximum freedom of movement, so agility isn't an argument either.
If people take offense to my statement on the sole grounds that I hurt their precious feelings regarding anime fashionistas, then by all means, let them come and try. Thpse people are usualy the same sort who could actually need a bit of fresh air and movement that would come in the process of trying to hunt me down, so I'm even doing them a favour.
Well that escalated quickly

Second or third floor, sir?
