Speaking about the show itself, Volume 2 debuts at RTX which is about 90 days away.

Not quite. If its anything like when the show first began, RTX attendees will see the first episode ahead of anyone else, and then not too long afterward everyone else catches up with the sponsor-to-public debut of the same episode. People didn't really spoil too much back then, they mostly just gave spoiler free opinions, with the occasional tidbit that wasn't really a spoiler but was good to know ahead of time(ex- first episode lacked half the team).

You've lost the plot, its Red Like Roses that has two parts. This Will Be The Day is just one.

Uh I did a bad job of describing it. This will be the day is cut in half for the season 1 intro. (Well the one at the end of episode 1) So I think the second half may be used for season 2.

I don't see why they would need to use another part of the song. Its used for consistency so you'll instantly recognize RWBY.

I don't see why they would need to use another part of the song. Its used for consistency so you'll instantly recognize RWBY.

Well most anime's usually have a different opening per season so RWBY may have a new one.

New scenes, yes. New music in the opening to the show, no. This isn't like Red vs Blue when it started and it just had Burnie mumbling something or other.

What are you talking about?

Red vs. Blues earlier seasons had an intro, and it had a better one (Also with music by Jeff Williams I might add) for the DVDs.

Exactly, an opening with "I May Fall" actually sounds quite appealing.

I mean I have complained that AoT and SAOs second openings were inferior, but Kill La Kills was better in my opinion.

The opening song is best if it fits the season. Season 1's "This will be the day" because it's the day Ruby has dreamed of. Season 2 being I may fall would be a bit of a jump. I don't think it will go all apocalyptic that quickly.

"Why run with the same song?" Why not? As I said, its a way to recognize RWBY instantly. Just like RvB has its little tune. Play that tune anywhere and someone who recognizes it will know it to be RvB. Same goes for RWBY. Change the track and there's no connection. RWBY doesn't need it to change. If it changes thats okay, but it would create completely unnecessary extra work that wouldn't have to be made if they stick to what works already.
