No it's an AU set in the future. Blake's evil, shanked Ruby (she got better), and put Weiss and Yang in the hospital.
Blake's ruthless in Remembrance, but she's not evil and has a very good reason she's like that.

I like it.  I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.  It kinda suggests Cinder is going to be the main antagonist this time around, but intros can be deceiving when it comes to things like that.

One thing i'm curious about is that Pyrrha seemed to be fighting team CRDL. There was quite a lot of Pyrrha in the opening come to think of it, I guess she plays a large part in season 2.
