Now when I get the designs for Remembrance drawn properly, everyones going to assume I ripped off Funblade.

Also, mine had more of a point considering Ruby lost her Left arm and not her right.
Since Rubys left handed, it was meant to symbolize her loss of power and control.

But I'll still say mine was better because it serves more of a purpose to Rubys character, that is it makes her feel artificial, and like she did die at Beacon and there's nothing left but another robot designed to kill Frenner.
A chapter in Volume 0 I'm currently deciding on will show Ruby had a chance to leave everything behind and live a normal life, and she gave it up for the reasons I've mentioned.
Also my Robo-Ruby arm turns into a Chaingun, that's way cooler than a laser armblade or repulsor blasts.
True although funblades art tends to be rule of cool and it certainly looks badass, though she does look incredibly similar to yang like that.
I really want to know what's in the box.

Its all fanon anyway. Multiple people will come up with similar ideas, some will find inspiration in other's ideas, and similar pieces, whether it be fan art, fan fiction, etc etc will be found across the web regardless. Hell we know the story of the fanon character that was dangerously similar to the yet-to-debut at the time Lie Ren.
Its not a big deal.
Whenever stuff like this happens I just remember that the was invented by 8 people at the same time.
