I wonder if people are actively bending their minds to come up with such theories, or if they really think those are logical conclusions based on what we know. I sorely hope it's the former. In that case it's a very creative fandom. If the latter, then good night.

The RWBY panel is a good example of this, with people yelling "They mentioned my ship! It's now canon!"

Lord help a fandom if one ever spawned from something I'm responsible for. I'd tell them to have a blast with their ships but I'd outright be like, "Yeah, NO" in some cases, especially if they start bringing canonicity into discussion.
