I am on the official store. I am not seeing Ruby.

Ty. I was being a dummy. It was right in front of me.
Dear god that face sculpt.
*relevant jontron snip*
Seeing that figure in the store, my first thought was 'Clone's gonna have a field day with this one.'
Yeah. Not impressed.
They look like average toys to me. I don't see what the fuss is about.

2 points of articulation doesn't make something a toy, rather a plastic statue lying to itself.
It also costs $35 which I can think of several different figures on the shelf right now around the same price that'll get you something more than that piece of crap.
Better sculpts, more articulation, some accessories.
IT'S A SCAM! I've been saying since day one they should be 10-15 dollars cheaper. Since MarcFarlane doesn't even use high quality plastics or paint.

I see. I don't collect figurines, so they all look the same to me.
I knew this was gonna happen waaay in advance, hahaha
It ain't a big deal anyway. People dig it.
Aye. This dance has been done almost every time a figure came out. Average about sums them up. (I quite liked the Weiss one, posing aside)
But most importantly, you can absolutely get a lot better from other figures at the same price point.
I wouldn't call it a scam just a poorly made over priced figure.
And people say Marvel Legends are getting over priced.
Yet look at say, the new Spidey based on Amazing Spider-Man 2

Around the same price, but far more worth your money.

No, I didn't mind Weiss or Blake. I thought there was some definite improvement going on.
Then this came out.
One step forward and two steps back, Nobody get's too far like that.
Best Character Yang reaction is best reaction
Yeah that's what I was thinking too.No, I didn't mind Weiss or Blake. I thought there was some definite improvement going on.

This is their first go at it.
They didn't make it in house.
Macfarlane Toys did.
You know what they also made?

The pretty Half Decent Halo figures.
If it was a matter of lack of funds. Then they should've waited.
I've been maniacally laughing this whole time
When the Ruby reaction happened in my head I went, "The Yang reactions are gonna be LOOOOL"
Lo and behold

Charlton Heston?
Control yourself!
Control yourself!
I can't! Its too good!
Charlton Heston?
ABSOLUTELY.
I can't! Its too good!
You make Lie Ren sad.
You make Lie Ren sad.
I think there's a grand total of NO people in this thread that give a toss about making Ren sad
For us its mainly Pyrrha, with nearly everyone else a little behind
This is their first go at it.
And even if it wasn't Mcfarlane (who should technically know better) I think that was the consensus with Ruby though. That they were just testing the water.
When the rest of the figures showed up at that expo, they looked like they were still putting the finishing touches on the designs.
So given that the next two were improvements, its seemed like they were learning.
I believed the hype.
ABSOLUTELY.
Thought so.
