Hah, nah. Monochrome because Black&White of course. Though with the show they decided to use the term Checkmate for the Weiss and Blake attack, which is clever(given a checkmate is a victory in chess and chess uses black and white pieces).

 

I haven't really ever heard Checkmate used as the ship name for Weiss and Blake, but I assume it was around. I'm just glad Bumblebee got the rub.

Looks like I have a few fics to read now.

 

I just caught up with the show, and the whole named attack thing was kinda adorable coming from Ruby.  Freezer Burn and Bumblebee definitely put a smile on my face while watching.

 

I feel like the production quality and some of the voice acting has generally been better this season.  I really like the progress the show has made.

I'm glad I waited to watch this show until it was a few episodes into its second season. The first season was.. not as good as people were making it out to be. The pacing was awful and character development/interactions needed some huge work. This season so far has been much, much better. Both the pacing and interactions between characters have improved greatly, but it could use more JNPR. That food fight was off the charts too.
