I'd like them to fight in a way that doesn't just involve them hitting the enemy with combined power brute force.
A little more finesse, like pulling out the 2/3 of the bottom blocks in the Jenga tower so the next person is going to knock it down.

The problem with RWBY is that villains and Grimm just seem massively ineffectual. They do a thing get beat up and then run away they are no threat since everyone just steamrolls all over them.
I agree on the Grimm but like the villains I expect there's more to them than we what have seen so far. There must be a reason the kingdoms haven't wiped out the Grimm long ago if they were pushovers.
The bad guys otoh don't have a fight that was really pushing their agenda yet so the stakes were low on both sides. Or maybe just cos it was mostly Roman going at it alone. Even then he held his own against Blake and Sun.
There's reason to hope now that Cinder is bunking at Beacon. I'm expecting Season two to really kick things up a notch or two now that she's in the picture.
I do hope that **** will do down at some point. While individual Grimm are weak a lot of them is a danger. The idea of hundreds of Nevermores destroying stuff appeals to me greatly. The villains like CInder I have no idea what's going on but it obviously has something to do with dust, aura and semblances.
She's going to disable Pyrrha's semblance possibly permanently *theory*
I............. This is why you need sleep Clones.

Pyrrha and potentionally other powerful characters getting their powers removed reminds me of that one X-Men movie plot ...
Well RWBY does take inspiration from a lot of places.......
I've been making jokes about Pyrrha being Magneto since Forever Fall.
Had to happen sooner or later. ![]()
Damn I can't find the picture you made.
Seems like enemies are either incompetent, or outmatched at this point, I'll agree it takes out a lot of the interest from combat.

RISE!
Rewatching last week's, I'm honestly hoping it's not as cliche they are playing it, but they did make Penny a robot, so it's all Haywood right now.
Personally, given Pyrrha's lines, the options of Arkos or Schneekos present themselves.
And one I see with a lot of comedic potential, the other just makes me think RWBY is playing it way too safe.
I wonder if they will ever will have human... Who is raise by Faunus or was born by one.
That's the backstory of one of my Remembrance OCs.
But they're all dead and I'd rather not revisit Team VLAD anymore.
Or if there are siblings, one Faunus, one not.
Coco and Velvet gave me the idea, but that obviously isn't the case.
Could people be straying from this thread because they know I didn't like what the latest episode did after Pyrrha's amazing fricken CRDL beat down and want to avoid my anger?
I swear, I'm not that scary. ![]()
Nah, was focused on other things. I saw the episode, the fighting scene was pretty intense. Sort of like something from God of War. The second half didn't do much for me. Not much to say on this one. Anyway, here's a free meme.Could people be straying from this thread because...
I was mostly just scared of Monty and his eerie tweets.

For some reason, this concerns me.
That do sound rather ominous
THE END TIMES!!!!! THE END TIMES HAVE BEEN FORETOLD!!!
